the devs stated that we are unable to transfer our 1.0 saves to 2.0, but they have prepared a savefile for us to use if we dont want to start from scratch

Hello Patheagame devs,

First of all, I really enjoy the game at the moment, and you clearly have the potential for a great game that can incorporate a wide range of gameplay mechanics and activities!

- I think it is a fair idea to reduce the time required with farming. Given the look and feel of the game though, it would seem inappropriate not to have any farming at all. (Perhaps, you can make higher tier or special crops be a bit more labor intensive/require some special care)

- So far the balance in the need to perform all the different resource gathering tasks seem appropriate. Although I almost ran into a bit of trouble when all the outside rock deposits were broken and I couldn't find any more marble (not sure if i was just looking in the wrong place though)

- Once I kicked an apple tree, and on the 3rd or 4th kick about 10 apples fell at once.. not sure if this is a bug or random luck? It was the tree on the island if that helps

- The battle music starting and stopping seems a bit weird... maybe experiment with a longer fade in/out? maybe its a personal preference thing, the music stops before I reach the next colourful llama, just to restart again

- I'm not sure if this was intentional, but when I changed the graphics from Ultra to simple, a lot of interactable shrubbery got removed, such as the viney bush/plant with orange flowers that gave both plant fiber and wood when chopped, this resulted in me completely depleting my plant fiber stores and having to wait to pick the sparkly grass, which only gave 1 plant fiber

- The thick lips look really strange at the moment xD

- as others have said, the name tags can be fixed with toggling to player's preference, I have personally not been bothered by it

- its a nice touch to have the stomp animation with the jetpack, but maybe set a minimum height for it to trigger, otherwise it seems a bit strange to stomp from a normal jump

- I found it a little clunky when the camera would lock out the vertical axis when entering a home, thereby not letting us see the house ceilings

- Nora's confidence is nice, don't worry about her too much ;)

- in terms of story progression; Im not sure how much bigger you are planning on making the world, but i cannot wait to see the epic tale you guys have in store for us! Will we be making a name of ourselves as a master builder, and be recruited by the civic corps to support them in the peripheries? Will ther ebe magic involved? With magical fairies in the woodlands or dastardly witches in the marshlands? how much more of the old world would we get to uncover and will we ever discover how it all came to an end? and where is momma bear??? :'(

Just a few little thoughts and feelings. I'm sure I've missed a few things in the current build still, (I only just found the bladefish tonight) Please keep up the great work! I look forward to enjoying your game more in the future!
