Hello, all! I'm a few days late on this announcement, but I've just released the demo for my next larger project, a surreal hand drawn RPG with an arcade-style combat system called Vollema!

You play as a college student on your university's volleyball team that accidentally gets dragged into a major conspiracy surrounding the school, local politics, and a cult-like paramilitary organization.  This demo takes place immediately after the first chapter, where you and your teammate find yourselves lost in the woods following an incident at school.

If you're interested, you can play the demo here!

Thanks for your time!

Thanks for playing! When you hear the monster's sound cue, you have a limited window of time to walk up to them and interact to make them go away before they come out and start chasing you.  If you don't get there in time, you can hide in the dumbwaiter until they go away (this won't work on the one that comes out of the fireplace though, since it can open doors).  Thanks again for playing, and thanks for the feedback!

Hi there, thank you for playing! The fearsome critters (as well as some other characters) can be found inside smaller caves located throughout the desert, like this:

A few of them are blocked off by rocks until you start the quest to find them, but after that you'll be able to go inside.  As for the large disk on the floor in the last area, try jumping on it a few times and it'll break, allowing you to go deeper into the cavern.

Thanks again for playing, please let me know if you have any other questions or comments!

thank you! i'm not taking commissions at the moment, but just in case you'd like to use any of the opossums from that specific sprite in the game as a potential icon, here's a transparent image of them:

Thanks!

Thank you, I appreciate it!

Oh, thank you! I'm super glad you liked them!!

I appreciate the approval!

Thanks, Derek!

Thank you!

Thank you! I'm mostly working on one particular "bigger" game right now, but I'd definitely like to do some more smaller projects in the same vein as this in the meantime.

thank you!

now i kind of wish i'd made that a feature

Hey there, thanks for trying out the game! Somewhere in each indoor level is a food and water bowl, if you walk up to it you'll eat automatically.

thank you so much!!

thanks for trying out the game! is it specifically the clock at the top left of the screen, or could it be the hunger meter at the top right running out that's causing a losing condition?
