This was so beautifully done! The art is gorgeous and the shop limitation was integrated very well. I usually get bored with cooking simulators but this was fresh and I loved the option to go explore the ocean floor and meet the ocean shop owners. Very well thought out and executed.

Really loved this one. Super good use of the theme, adorable art, and fun way to include the instructions being a lie. The only suuuuper minor thing I would say is that I wish that all the sentences made sense when you fixed the madlib. You can get correct/happy responses from the client with sentences that if you read them outloud you'd go "what?" and I kind of wish it didn't give you the clue of showing you the approval rating when you input a word and you had to wait until after you hit "done" for any indicator whether they'd like the reading or not.  All that to say the color system and the grimoire were very fun mechanics and I loved this art style. All around, probably my favorite submission I've played so far!

I wasn't able to find a way to trigger doing deeds for the villagers, which I assume is how you get the "good ending". I would also recommend considering changing the mechanics for the chopping and rock crushing because walking up to and away from the target felt a little odd. I think the spacebar for pulling up the weeds was more effective and felt less monotonous on the hand. Overall, big concept and great job for a first time solo dev. I hope to see more from you and your wife!

Definitely intrigued by this one. Good sense of dread and creative use of the theme.

Really enjoyed this!  I was definitely taken aback by the reveal.  Fun, simple concept with a twist. I definitely felt mislead and the fish art was great!

I was feeling like this felt more like a short story than a game because of how text heavy this was and  the lack of choices until the end and then I saw your dev note. I`'m so sorry to hear you lost your game code!  I hope you keep doing jams because what you have here would work beautifully as a narrative wireframe and the pixel art that is here is very charming. Would love to see more of it!

Omg, hi again!! Thank you so much for this sweet message and for taking the time to come find and play it. It's been a joy to work with this little team and I'm so happy people are enjoying it. <3
