we're definitely working on polishing everything and adding more content at the moment, thank you so much for playing!

thank you so much for playing and making a video about the game <3 we're releasing a new demo in october, feel free to join our discord so you know once it releases and can play the current state of the game :D

You'll be happy to hear that we've already implemented some of the things you mentioned for the upcoming steam demo. There'll be cards that let you discard, villager abilities will be only available depending on their well being and their abilities have been rebalanced. Thank you so much for playing and giving such extensive feedback :)

you found a very viable strategy there! thanks for the feedback about the thresholds we've done some rebalancing since the upload of the prototype. I hope the game won't feel like a slog for you anymore when we release the steam demo :)

thank you <3

sorry to hear that the game got cut short for you like that. Sadly the prototype does have a few nasty bugs like that, they're noted and hopefully won't occur in our steam demo anymore

You're definitely not the first to mention the blessings becoming a bit of a nuisance, we're working on that. Same with the level threshholds, do join us over on discord. We do playtest on there and we'd lpve to hear if you still feel the same way about the current state of the game :)

You're completely right, this was definitely a mistake on our part when balancing the prototype. We have since fixed this and hope to showcase an improved demo (without a softlock lol) over on Steam soon. Please look forward to that and thank you so much for checking out the prototype!!

thank you!!

thank you!! good luck on your gaming journey what a good choice of game to get started ;)

We definitely noticed both problems with the prototype as well and have added a cooldown as well as done a lot of rebalanicing for the upcoming demo. Thank you for checking it out and sharing your thoughts!!

thank you so much for playing our game I think this is officially the first youtube video made on BLOODLETTER. So happy to see you enjoyed it enough to share it with your audience :) Don't hesitate to join our discord so we can get you an updated version of the game to play once we release the new demo!!

<3

thank you for the detailed feedback that's definitely helpful. This was the first prototype we worked on for the game and you'll definitely be able to find different entities with different win conditions in the final version so there'll be more variety in the gameplay. We decided against time pressure to allow players to make strategic choices and really think their moves through if they want to. Check out our steam page or join our discord to get your hands on the current version, I'd be super interested to hear if you still feel the same way about the current version of the game:)

thank you so much for playing!! Yes sadly that's a problem in this prototype however we have taken care of this for our upcoming demo you'll be able to play on our steam page soon :)

thank you so much for you extensive feedback!! I feel like you really understand the essence of the game and I feel honoured that you not only get it but also love it because of that, this is some of the sweetest feedback I’ve ever gotten on a game project, thank you for that!

thank you for the feedback, could you elaborate what made it feel unfair?

haha now that you mentioned it I am also wondering, thank you for the feedback!

thank you, the squiggle is supposed to be the symbol for hair but you’re not the only one who had trouble figuring that out, we have noted it

thank you, we briefly considered adding equations etc to fuck with players more but alas we stuck with the decimal numbers

thank you!

thank you, anything specific you’d like to see if we decide to keep working on it?

thank you, we appreciate the sweet words!!

thank you, we’re very happy to hear it!

happy to hear that you both enjoyed it, thank you for the kind feedback!

Absolutely love the artstyle, it works really well with the unsettling vibe set by the narrative. The gameplay is also super interesting and places the player in an interesting active role within the setting. Fantastic job!

Very creative concept, the animations work really well and I would have love to see the morphing mechanic interact with multiple different obstacles

Absolutely loved the artstyle and atmosphere, it's a very beautiful project!! Handling also felt really smooth and made for a super fun game experience!

Very sorry to report that multiple people left the store with a few toes less than they came in with lol. Super solid game concept I love the almost meditative nature of the clicking once you get in the flow. Would have loved to get some more practice time in before the afternoon rush comes in but that's the nature of retail work. Art style also works very well and allowed me to concentrate on the gameplay, the smileys are a really smart way to communciate the customers' mood. Really fun!

thank you, the colors were actually inspired by a piece of hylics fanart so good catch!

Very satisfying and fun to play! I think the  title name and UI could benefit from a little more love but overall a super neat project!

super interesting idea, love the art style as well, really sells the silliness of the game overall really neat

Loved the gravity change in the nationals, really added something refreshing to the last level, would have loved to see more diverese difficulty increases like those in the second level as well. The setting is also super fun and the added interview on the itch page has a lot of charm!!

love the art style, really enhances the classic platformer vibe! Getting to choose whethere I want to master obstacles as a big or small lizard was also super fun, especially when having to redo sections and realising how much better the second choice worked out

their teeth really bring out their beautiful eyes
