The new ghost battle mechanics are really unsatisfying, they make me just want to quit the game when I encounter a ghost. Sever does insignificant damage, sacrificing funds doesn't do much damage either, and wasting 4-6 turns trying to figure out the bow/clap combination is just not fun. I could have some sort of script solve it for me but that feels like it defeats the point. Is there some sort of trick I'm missing?
I appreciate the desire to make ghosts interesting to fight compared to humans but this doesn't really feel like an improvement. If I pick the old god that doesn't allow fleeing a ghost is basically the end of my run.
