Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Adding new mechanics throughout the waves is something we are definitely planning on doing. We are working on introducing many different bosses and enemy types and fish, each with unique effects and behaviors. The scope for the game is pretty big so we are excited to keep expanding it and see where it goes!
The time is actually purely based on luck just like real life! The chances of fish spawning is 70% every 2 seconds. These values are also impacted by the luck stat which you can raise if you catch a legendary fish (the golden one). Thanks for the feedback and for playing!
