Hey (coming from the Sudz video), and y'all did a fantastic job. This feels like a nicely polished demo of a great game. Gave a real sense of "wanting more" in a good way. I found myself already thinking of potential ideas for new enemies to confront the player, other kinds of gates, and different mechanics that could change the core gameloop.

Understandable, there are checkpoints at the start of each level but that one's the longest (and probably hardest). Thanks for trying it out and leaving a comment!

Surprisingly fast-paced for such a cute looking game! And giving the right kind of candy to monster-kids or kids-dressed-as-monsters is really creative with a good amount of variety in designs. Also great sound design (I don't need points I need to hear the happy sound the kids make when they get their favorite candy)

Thanks for giving it a try and sharing your experience!

Yo, this is fantastic. Great aesthetic, gameplay, and ambiance. I especially liked the dichotomy between the day/night and trying to grab exp then get in a good position before it became night again. Partway through my secondary attack stopped spawning projectiles and at the very beginning it took a hot minute to figure out what was going (I was normally jumping between platforms when it became dark). But overall, loved it!

Thanks for the kind words and for playing the game! We had plans for an otherworldly entity that stalked you through the levels and into the UI of the game itself but he had to be cut for time.

Love the art style and aesthetics (especially in the intro), plus the unique story. The tank controls did take a bit to used to but I found myself Tokyo drifting through rooms after not too long.

Thanks for playing and the support! (and don't worry too much about the bird, he likes being helpful)

Fun twist to vampire survivors-like games. I like how you can go out exploring the darkness as long as you keep killing enemies to regain health. Gives a nice risk/reward of how long you stay away from the campfires. Also like that trying to stay near the campfires to regain health causes enemies to group up there and force you away (even if you're still low on health).

Most of my runs actually ended because no more enemies would spawn in (maybe because of the exp orbs I didn't collect). Either way, had a lot of fun with this rootin', shootin', spookin' possum boat ride!

Haha, I actually saw that you made the change when I went to review it so I played both versions. Feels a lot more polished with the portal being eaten by the void screen

Yeah, I'm surprised it hasn't been used more. Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Yeah, I can see how that could be a turn off (especially for a jam where there are so many other submissions to try out). Glad you liked the art and thanks for giving it a play!

Loved the vibes of the title screen with the pixelated filter over the moving 3d scene! Had a bit of trouble interacting with the two objects when they were near each other but overall the changing perspective/interact mechanics are great.

Thanks for trying out the game! Sorry to hear you didn't make it very far but I really appreciate the feedback

Fun little skully platformer. Loved that the slow fall can be used while jumping to get a super-jump! Some of the longer horizontal segments made the void kind of come out of nowhere (which isn't necessarily bad but was a bit of a fells bad getting close to the end of the section and dying from it).

Great submission! Loved the art and the story. Melee felt a bit stiff having the character stop moving to attack but that made me have to play a bit slower and more cautiously. Praise Mother Terra
