Hey everyone!
I've been working solo on Kanarion Online since January. It's a 2D MMORPG inspired by older games like Canaan Online and Dofus, but with real-time tactical combat: nobody waits for their turn, everyone acts at once on a grid, so positioning, range and line of sight matter.
The game is still in alpha, but there's already quite a bit to explore:
- 6 classes, 24 subclasses and 48 specializations
- 100+ familiars to collect and bring into battle
- PvE with monster packs, dungeons and bosses
- PvP arena in 1v1, 3v3 and 6v6, normal or ranked
- Guilds, trading, an auction house and other multiplayer features
I'm still working on the world, animations, balancing and overall polish. Building an online game solo has honestly been a much bigger challenge than I expected.
It's free and playable directly in your browser, no download needed, and you can start as a guest without making an account.

I'd really appreciate honest feedback, especially on the combat and the first few minutes of gameplay. Thanks for taking a look!
