RTS Game Progress Update + Asset News

Hi everyone,

Quick update! I’m making great progress on my new RTS game inspired by Warcraft 3, now in Unity 6. Core features like building placement, resource gathering, and unit controls are up and running. I’m currently working on refining mechanics, adding new systems, and making everything smoother.

While most of my focus is on the RTS, I’m still creating new art assets on the side, so expect more asset releases soon. Thanks for your continued support—I’m excited to share both the game and new assets with you!

We’re Updating Our Assets!

To create a more unified and beautiful experience, we’re updating our older assets to match our new painterly style. Everything will have a consistent, polished look — stay tuned for the refreshed updates!

hey good point, I forgot to tag it.Fixed the tags. But its not using Ghibli AI.I am not familiar with ghibli AI. I am using something else for AI assisted workflows. Its based on doodles. Read my post

I use AI in all of them to speed up the process, then refine manually for quality and style.

“AI helps me create and share these textures faster and at lower prices—even free. If you prefer fully procedural/hand-drawn textures, feel free to explore other options. However, I’m open to custom orders using tools like Substance Designer.”

Hi, I use AI as part of my workflow for creating textures. The reason is simple: efficiency. While I can make textures procedurally or hand-paint them from scratch, both methods take significantly more time, and the end result is typically valued the same.

By using AI, I can generate a strong base quickly and refine or fix any issues in Krita or Photoshop when needed. This hybrid approach saves time without compromising on quality — and because it streamlines my workflow, I’m able to price my assets more affordably than many others.

In short, it’s a practical choice that benefits both me and those who use my assets.

Thanks. Yeah I really enjoyed making this golem. If you want you can vote for next monsters or creatures or animals. After I make enough monsters I will start making some humanoids or other races. Then I will make the world elements. Yeah 3 of the colours have 15 frames I saw it. If it matters too much I will make it 16.

what type of assets beside pixel art would you like? Hand painted better than low poly style? Do you like this style or prefer something else?

I want to know what you want to see for the asset pack? What does your medieval side scrolling game needs? Also any feedbacks for the asset packs are welcome.

Thanks. I will be making more things to add to it.

works over here. Sorry due to time restrain I cannot make a video at this time. Maybe check how to use things in unity?

I just released Side Scroller Desert Tileset asset pack. Check it out : https://kalponic-studio.itch.io/side-scroller-desert-tileset
