I’ve received a few questions about whether these textures are AI-generated, so here’s a quick clarification:
These textures are AI-assisted, not fully AI-generated. I use a mix of tools like Krita, Photoshop, Stable Diffusion, Substance Sampler, and Substance Designer. Many start from my own sketches, photos, or base textures, then go through enhancement and manual polish to ensure quality and consistency.
I originally created these for my own projects. Rather than let them sit unused, I decided to share them affordably (or free) so other developers can benefit.
While I can create fully hand-painted or procedural textures, those take much more time — and typically cost $0.40 to $5 per texture depending on the artist and platform.
By using a hybrid workflow, I’m able to offer 48 polished, game-ready textures for just $6 as an example — that’s under 15¢ each, without compromising on quality.
This approach is about being smart with time while still caring deeply about artistic quality. Every texture is hand-touched, tested, and ready to drop into your game.
🧭 If AI-assisted art isn’t your thing, that’s totally okay!
Everyone has different creative values — and there are amazing artists doing 100% manual work. Those usually come with a higher price, which is fair given the time involved.
