I explored a bit, I liked the music and I liked the change when you went underwater (did you just turn off tracks underwater?). Def looks like you ran out of time in terms of adding game loop etc. but it's a cool voxel engine and interesting objects - flowers on the path that shake when you touch them etc. Was hoping you could interact with the fishing rod (and fish!).    Game sometimes hung which was distracting (AMD 9800x w/ Nvidia 5700).

As someone who used to do game dev stuff before engines were available it can be fun/challenging/interesting to build stuff from scratch, but I always got stuck working on the engine and did a poor job prioritizing game loop stuff myself.  Either way cool stuff!

I think presentation and storytelling/backstory were good. I'm not a huge fan of games that have older games in them (mainly because I prioritize my time). That being said, in the context of summer and nostalgia of playing video games (even at the beach) fits the theme. I did not finish - but played until I finished the 3 subgames shown but got a bit frustrated at the final part of the fishing mini game. Either way good presentation and variety. I did end up exploring the main level quite a bit.

Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! We are looking into the bug where you can kick enemies off screen (using bullets on the boss atm can avoid getting stuck but kicking other enemies off screen is non blocking).

Def hits the summer vibe. Seemed like it's a pain if you can only get out of the pool on one side and you can't throw the lifesaver. Cool concept.

Well made - captures the game jam themes well! At first I was frustrated with the lack of control you have directly on speed but after giving it a go a few times and realize you were building up resources to get better it started to click for me. I was able to finish the demo - good job!
