Thanks, glad you enjoyed this take on the TD genre.

Thanks!

Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks, I appreciate the kind comments and will consider expanding on the game in the future.

Thanks, I definitely wish I had added a fast forward button. Ran out of time unfortunately.

Thanks! Lmk if you have any suggestions for improving clarity of instructions.

I came up with the idea when thinking about how to reverse roles in some of my favorite genres, including TD games. The first idea was being responsible for spawning enemies instead of building towers, but that's already a game mode is Bloons TD 5/6. Then I realized you could make a pretty good puzzle game by manipulating paths, destroying towers, etc. and made this game.

Glad you enjoyed the game, and the suggestions for additional mechanics are really good. Also, there's a playthrough video now if you want to check the solution for level 4.

Glad you enjoyed the art. I just added a playthrough video for the game. Feel free to check it out if you want to see the solution to level 3.

Really great job on game feel, I was literally addicted. Got to 499910 before giving up. Game performance starts getting really wonky after around 350k though, kinda unplayable at after 420k because lag and enemies kinda stop spawning frequently. Was really fun while it lasted though. Slimes + Wisps + Trap Chests are all you need.

Thank! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Definitely an extremely well designed game, combining puzzle and platforming elements together really well. I saw the comments saying that the speed is a bit fast, but I think it's more of a problem with the acceleration. A slower (not-instant) acceleration to max speed will help with not speeding into random spikes and make being able to turn and shoot projectiles without slamming into something a lot easier. The max speed is fine in my opinion. Other than that, there is an issue in the final optional challenge where at the very end, last platform, the camera movement trigger is a bit too low and jumping to the very last platform will cause the camera to move while you are still in danger, which is annoying. Also, I felt like I sort of skipped some of the parts for the final optional challenge (went above the moving spikes rather than inside the ground), but had a lot of fun!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

Thanks for playing! A death counter would definitely be nice! I was thinking about adding one, as well as some kind of score system, but ran out of time. Perhaps something to add in the future.

Thanks! It's great that you managed to complete the game!

Very cool, you definitely implemented the theme well, even the music is incongruous. Was confusing, but the twist was interesting.

Nice job! I really like the art and music, especially the run animation.

Thank! It's good that you found the ports useful!

If you're using discrete collision detection, changing that to continuous collision detection should help. Otherwise, setting a max fall speed is also something you could try.

Thanks! Most of the art was pretty last minute, but it does seem to go well with the sort of minimalist look. Glad you enjoyed the game!

Thanks, it's great that you found the hidden areas! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Simple, but controls well. Until you lose control... ... I was actually considering using the music you used, chose a different track instead though. Unfortunately I fell and got stuck in a platform at some point. Was going pretty well before that.

Really liked the mechanic, managed to clear the game, the level is quite well made. Really wish the friendly ghost/player had a boxier collider rather than a rounded once, slipped off way too often.

The flipping of the level was cool, but gravity seems to be too strong, which makes the jumps feel really off and challenging. The colliders are a bit weird as well, I seemed to always have to jump while floating to the side of the platforms. The aesthetic is really nice and goes well with the ominous music. The character sprite looks cool as well.

Cute penguin wears sandals

Really liked the theme. The fish also really feels like a fish! Sort of slipper and bouncy. Some of the colliders are definitely a bit off though, I lost the ability to jump once in a while, and the moving platforms at the end would sometimes become de-synced. Really nice overall!

Somehow lost the ability to shoot after dying once. Did manage to complete the level however. The character sprite looks nice!

Cool game! The aesthetic is very creepy. I liked how well the player controlled, it made the precision platforming very enjoyable. A score/kill indicator would have been nice though.

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'll be sure to take a look at your game as well.
