Neverblade is an earthbound-inspired rpg i made in RPG Maker 2000. You play as a child named Cain who has committed a horrible sin and has been punished with immortality. The demo takes place before Cain was given the punishment of immortality and you will figure out what Cain did to get that punishment. Every enemy encounter has an option to talk to the enemy, giving an unique personality to every enemy. Every night, you explore Cain's dreams in yume nikki-like dream exploration sequences, which gives some insight into his personality. And that's all just the 3-4-hour long demo of the game! It might be an actual bug but it might be that it is just confusing as to what you are supposed to press because it works for me. Try pressing Z on keyboard, a menu should pop up where you can start the game. Regardless, thanks for the feedback
