Very nice parallax, excellent opening house animation but I didn't appear on screen at first and wasn't sure what was happening. The second time I played I wasn't anywhere at all and the controls didn't seem to bring me into frame...! Good starting base, I really hope there are more updates because I love the idea.

One sentence review: "Keep that cauldron bubbling for I foresee a bright future for this witch!"

Very cool game that manages to feel even smaller than the pico8 usually does! Great enemy design, sprites look very consistent. I know the description mentions spores but it felt like I was inside the blood stream battling a virus. Excellent job, and makes me want to hit X as soon as I die.

One sentence review: "I've never enjoyed being swarmed as much as I have today!"

The enemy bullet style is fantastically readable and the giant eye boss gives me serious Santa Cruz skateboards graphic style art vibes. Power ups felt powerful, but I wish I had had more i-frames (because I am not great at SHMUPS). Good clean monster murdering fun.

One sentence review: "Saddle up Space Cowboy and get ready for a ride you'll want to SEE all the way through!"

Tall vertical arcade cabinet style screen, excellent music and beautiful sprites. A big fan of the left and right tilted shots while wobbling about too. Mucho polished work.

One sentence review: "Stylish coin-op action that will drain your change faster than you can drain your shields"

A really cool concept and different take on the SHMUP genre. Easy to pick up the concept but a high skill ceiling for balancing dodges and hitting that egg. Also great title screen music, nice and catchy.

One sentence review: "You can't save a galaxy without shooting a few eggs"

Solid game with some fun special abilities. With a few beeps and bloops and some more time this will be a fun little space adventure. I really like the pixel particle engine trails, very spacey!

One sentence review: "Straight shooter spits space shots straight!"

Looking at it now I think you are right, some of those enemies should have been rotated 90 degrees to be upright. It's been interesting learning how I design and what other people think of the same concepts!

The Eye Of Yox is a tough little nut to crack. Charged shots were something different to get used to but once I did it felt great timing and unleashing blasts of revenge on those alien jerks. The picvkups bouncing around made them hard to collect unless the screen was pretty empty but that added to the challenge. I enjoyed this. (Also can we talk about that start screen? The kind of visual style I dream about)

One sentence review: "The Eye of Yox sees you coming, and it won't stop staring you down!"

Those blasted Gloopadoops! DadGam has made a charming little entry with satisfying explosions and some nice world building *calling your score counter "Revenge" was a great touch).

One sentence review: "If this is the first Gloopadoop Invasion then sign me up for the sequel!"

Oh holy heck yes! This game is great. It was fun to play and clear to read, but I am IN LOVE with the info display on the right. That is how space games should be, chunky power readings for your different systems like bombs, weapon power, the mini-map is so cool. I liked the wave counter and the danger warning when debris was flying towards the bottom of the screen. Excellent game, will play moar.

One sentence review: "Super stylish SHMUP action that makes me wish I could leave the war and explore space with that little mini-map to guide me"

Peka power! I had a lot of fun playing this game. The power-ups are nice and I love the visual effects on the bullets. I need some more practice but the screen showing your previous attempt against your current one is a good touch.

One sentence review: "Astral Kitty Action with plenty or pretty particles"

I'm a veteran member of the Night Patrol, my score is so high it became a negative number. Does what it says on the tin, endless shooter where you blast aliens and make sure to patrol the night. I like the soundtrack and the ship speed and shooting felt good. A few got past me (RIP to the families on earth that I let down) but overall it was pretty easy to save the world.

One sentence review: "Night Patrol is an easy job, but somebodies got to do it"

Solid with a lovely opening crawl and a nice logo design. The ships lasers are very pretty, and that level music feels like a chiptune classic. I almost hated clearing a level because the main music stopped for a few seconds.

One sentence review: "Starbase Assault gives you the ship, the weapons and the enemies, but can you bring the pilot we need to win freedom?"

Nice little banger of a soundtrack there, it slaps! I thought the enemy designs were cool, that shifting red eye on the large green dudes reminds me of the Cylons. The eye enemy at the end looked cool as heck and I thought the explosions were excellent. I think the inclusion of a playtest mode was a fantastic idea that I will implement in my own projects in future, very smart. The main screen is beautiful and hypnotizing.

One sentence review: "Playtest your way to victory and ride this wave to the very end"

Nice and simple game. The little grey guys look like puppy's, but I still shot them. Leveling up was a nice surprise and the triple shot made the rest of the game a breeze. A few more enemies to deal with would have upped the challenge but this was a lovely little adventure.

One sentence review: "Short, sweet and easy to complete!"

Nice sound design, the musical enemy death sounds are just delightful. The concept of collecting medals of increasing value to get lives was great. It would be a good way of doing increasing weapon power as well. I felt the ship moved a bit too slowly to catch the medals sometimes but with practice comes perfection.

One sentence review: "Many aliens will die, but they will go out singing!"

Oh man, this idea is awesome. Some really excellent visual style going on and a totally different take on controls. Rotate, shoot, strafe key. A bit more highlighting to show the direction the player is facing would have helped my brain with my playing but a very cool idea.

One sentence review: "You spin me right round, then you explode because I strafe shotted you!"

Excellent little blaster with great visuals and an integrated computer voice! DO YOU WANT ANTS?

One sentence review: "ANTicipate BEEing impressed with this little FLYing fighter."

Nice player ship design and gorgeous little particle disintegration for the enemies. With a power-up or two and some more work this game will be shootinating up the galactic counntryside.

One sentence review: "Fun, crunchy but the oven cooks much too slowly!" *Edited to reflect oven speed*

Interesting to have all the enemies fly in and let you get a few shots at them before they form up to start firing back. Fast paced with some very pretty square shaped explosions effect, it would be good to see some weapon boosts or power-ups as well to really empower the player. I love that it was made in Godot! Good job.

One sentence review:: "Gotto GODOT fast in this speedy little SHMUP" (nice Sonic reference there for all the hardcore fans"

Really fast paced shooter, very quick ship movement with lots of power-ups appearing and enemies zipping around. The skull when you fire the spreadshot is cool, maybe a little hard to see through when things are going crazy. Very cool that all the enemies had different bullets, but the tradeoff is that it's not always easy to see them coming at you.

One sentence review: "Slip another quarter in the machine, I'm going to slide right through these bad guys!"

A Remarcable Confrontation indeed. THe concept of attracting your other ships as a squad and having the fire with you was very interesting. I was able to get all the way to the enemy core on my first run using that support. The only I couldn't see was how much health the enemy core had, and I wasn't sure if it was resetting after each of my deaths.

One sentence review: " A Remarcable Game Debut"

Solid fundamentals, I'm a big fan of the ship movement, it was responsive and quick just like an advanced star fighter should be. Some shots seemed to phase through enemies, not sure if it was collision related or not but it was rare anyway. Satisfying power-ups but I wish they had lasted a little bit longer because they were fun to use. That title music should have played throughout the whole game! Absolutely great tune.

One sentence review: "You might beat the aliens, but you won't defeat that earworm!"

Wave mode is straightforward enough but Arcade Mode really shines, I loved choosing my power-up and immediately felt invested in trying to combine the best ones for tactical advantages. Would love to see that mode developed further. Great fun.

On sentence review: "Nice sounds, sprites and laser fights."

This was fun and challenging in equal measure. I love the info page about the tumbleweeds at the start and the character selection screen was great too. Art style was accurately wild west-y (I should know, I'm a time-traveling cowboy) Long live Barrel Guy! The recoil/aim mechanic is very clever.

One sentence review:
You had me at "Tactical Environmentalist Action"

Fun game, also bonus points for letting me step into the holodeck and live on of Lt. Paris' favourite adventures :) I'm really impressed by your cover art.

This is  a beautiful experience. The perfect piece of music as well. I loved the journey through space, and the different quotes peppered throughout. Thanks for sharing some of yourself with us.

Thanks! When I started game design that's really what I wanted to explore. My own memories of childhood and how exciting and big the world was.

I know this comment is 2 years old but I appreciate it, and my apologies for not replying sooner!

Please give me the lowest vote. This is not even close to a finished game but it started me on the path to a game I may actually release someday!

Very short, but the style of art is sweet and cute. Would be a lovely thing to receive from someone you want to kiss.

I really enjoyed this, and it turned out to be longer than expected! Really nicely done art as well.

This is a very good point. Thanks for the help :) I'm planning to use my pi-zero to run bitsy as a pocket game studio for travelling. Your software will make that so much easier :)

I did try that but no luck. I can edit inside and make new projects but ti won't load for me. It's alright, I have acess to the web version at the moment. Will uninstall and try again soon!

I was delighted to find your tool as I have been enjoying Bitsy since our country went into lockdown. I seem to be unable to load html files into Bitsy Saviour however and I would like to continue working on games I had begun in my browser! Any suggestions you could provide would be very helpful.

Thanks for all the work you have put into this tool :)
