Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I will probably add some more levels eventually :)

Thanks so much!

Thanks so much!

i have made a few little prototypes before, and i have a lot of previous game experience from Scratch when i was younger, and I've been doing a lot of art for a long time

so it's my first major game, but I've had a lot of previous practice :)

btw i tried your game it was really fun minus being extremely difficult :D

true

YAY SOMEONE FOUND IT FINNALY

there might also be another one somewhere too ;)

Thanks so much for all the praise and advice! I will definitely keep it in mind for future games :)

Thanks!

Thanks so much!

I'm glad i could make an enjoyable experience for you :)

Thanks!

I agree the camera could be a bit wider but there were some issues with the background that i didn't have time to fix that were preventing me from making the camera any bigger :(

glad you still enjoyed the game :)

Thanks so much!

Thanks!

I find level 2 or 3 to be the hardest, I probably should've made more of a difficulty curve :\

Thanks so much!

Thanks! I will be starting a new game project soon, so drop a follow if you wanna be notified when I do :)

(hehehe shameless self promotion)

awwwww

oh well it looks great so i hope whatever you make next will be even better :)

Looks so fun! reminds me a lot of Townscaper, if it had more of a solid gameplay loop :D

can't wait to see where this project goes!

Thanks so much! I have had a small amount of previous experience, (mostly on the art side) but am greatly enjoying the Godot workflow.

Thanks! I agree i should have made the camera a bit wider :/

Thanks!

Thank you! I definitely agree with you ideas, I will probably add some stuff like that at a later point.

Glad you enjoyed my game!

Happy to hear you enjoyed it!

Ok! ill probably be posting progress on future games here (the devLog feature looks kinda cool) so just keep an eye out for that!

Unfortunately I don't :(

if I ever get it I'll try to remember you, I also love Godot :D

Thanks! I actually had mobile compatibility in mind when making it :)

Thanks so much!

Thank you so much! I agree with your criticisms I didn't spend as much time as i would've liked on tweaking and polish, hopefully will keep that in mind in the future.

Thanks again for your feedback!

lol thanks, the extreme bounciness was actually accidental, and I didn't feel like bothering to fix it :P

i find the bounciness to be kinda fun and silly anyways :D

Happy to hear you enjoyed the game!

lol thanks! i think that could be fun to make, we'll see what happens i guess!

probably will work on some other small projects first just for variety but ill definitely keep it in mind

Thanks for letting me know of the bug, I don't think it messes with any actual gameplay so I'm not too worried about it :)

Glad you enjoyed the game!

Thanks! I agree the camera could be a bit wider, but to change that I would've had to entirely redraw the background sprites and I unfortunately didn't have time to do that.

thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks! I reaaally wanted to add coyote time but i just didn't have time to last night :(

Glad you enjoyed it tho!

Thank you for the feedback, I will definitely rework some of the movement to feel more responsive at a later time. (probably once the voting period is over) Glad you still enjoyed it!

Thanks! Unfortunately, the unresponsiveness is just due to time limitations, I didn't feel like messing with it anymore at 1am last night ;)

I also think level 3 is the hardest, definitely need to work on my level design skills but im glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks! Sorry you couldn't get your game submitted properly, ill be sure to check it out still :D

Thanks for the feedback! I also noticed the slight unresponsiveness, but just simply didnt have time to fix it, glad you still enjoyed it tho!

i will definitely keep the camera in mind for future games.

The game is now released if u wanna check it out :) Autumn Skate by Jwduth (itch.io)

it does look quite good thanks for the idea!

(1 edit)

ooh that is a good idea!

i like the idea of having a chicken as the main character, but i think maybe I'll make the skateboard a bright blue for the extra contrast.

thanks for the feedback :)

looks great! i love the hand drawn look :)

i would suggest adding more details like that bush to fill out the empty space a bit like maybe some lil tufts of grass or something other than that keep up the good work!

happy cozy autumn game jamming :D

(1 edit)

quick level mockup screenshot for my game, what do you all think?

this is my first time doing a game jam and first time doing major pixel art so any advice or feedback would be appreciated :)

thanks, and happy cozy autumn game jamming :D
