Side note: guys if you are reading this please take some time and play my game! I haven't gotten a lot of views and this game would be for you if you like puzzles. I also play the games of everyone who commented on mine so it would be so nice of anyone to play! (excuse me for borrowing your game post to comment this, feel free to delete this comment if you wish)

Very impressive 3d game here! I love all the assets you have created and the gameplay is short but exciting! This was certainly worth the play and I enjoyed it very much! Great Game!

Update: You pulled off something even more impressive :O idk about 3d modelling but that looks like a lot of work! I for sure cannot pull that off without learning more about 3d games and having someone to help me or using a bunch of online sprites :D.

Hi! I responded to your partner - but again thank you so much for playing my game! (especially both of you guys coming out of the way to play it!)

Thank you so much for playing my game as well :) I thoroughly enjoyed your game too! If anyone enjoyed my game, they really should take a shot at yours!

Thankyou for your comments! I loved your game as well! These words of encouragement mean a lot and I appreciate your feedback!

I can tell that you are a great artist! Also good at coding too :) This game was super cool and I really enjoyed it. I love the mystery aspect you incorporated too, very successful for sure as some of them tend to not do nearly as well :)

Hi! Thanks for commenting this :D I'm super happy to hear that you liked my game! On the note of how I pulled it off: I recently learned a lot of front-end development and I've always had a passion for art, which is not as related to the game itself but it really helps you learn beauty standards to help make good-looking UI! There's for sure some bugs I couldn't get around to fixing, and features I want to implement, but I am glad to receive overall positive feedback about it! I hope what I mentioned can help you improve as well, I'll check on your game too!

Ha! I can't believe you figured out where I got my inspiration from. This idea partly came from a mobile game add :O. Maybe I should consider uploading it on google play? Thank you for your kind words though! I really enjoyed the gameplay of your game too!

Love that you commented that :D I learned a lot about front-end development recently and it's awesome that people notice!

Thank you so much for your compliments! Another player actually told me that they felt the difficulty scaling is quite unbalanced at times! It's so interesting to hear from another perspective. I definitely should have but did not expect mixed opinions about these details in my game :) Your game is really good as well, thanks for playing mine :D

thank you so much for the feedback. I try my best to balance the difficulties and come up with fun levels, but the time constraints of the jam make it hard to repeatedly play test and iterate. I’m glad you enjoyed my game though! This is my first ever game jam and I’m super grateful for any comments that can help me improve.

Your comments mean a lot to me. Thank you for your feedback and thoughtful words! Your game is amazing as well, in fact you already have an "amazing full game." :D

Impressive game! don't see 3d games very often here, but it was very fun to play! Extremely impressive that you put this together in 4 days! Maybe some more human sounds recorded into the game can make the atmosphere more tense. Also there could be some consideration for adding more variety of stuff like vines, or water for slippery surfaces. Overall very astonishing you can pull it off in such a short time constraint!

Omg I can't even.  This was so fun! Love the chess pieces-like movement especially and the different characters! This game was literally so well made. I am so jealous that you guys put such a strong group of people together for a team! Meanwhile I have to work solo for my game :(. Overall it was really well made, the only caveat perhaps is that it doesn't feel too challenging as most of the time the correct path is quite obvious. Still absolutely loved the game though!

This game was super cool! The art was incredible! Impressive that you guys managed to do all this without any AI to help! Very good game for how short the time limit was. I would have asked for more polished assets and UI design, but taken into the account of the short time and lack of generative AI for assistance, this game looks to be about as good as it gets! Pls try my game if you have time too :) Would help so much

This is super fun to play! I was addicted to this game. It's just sad there wasn't more :( I love the gameplay though! I  don't see games like these often! I guess if you want to expand it a bit further, you can take a look at balatro and draw inspritation from there. Could add cards with special effects, economy, etc. This is basically blockblast and poker combined

This is a very good game, super polished. The only complaint I have about it is that I think I have seen a lot of games like this before? Ngl that's not even a bad thing. This game could totally be on steam after a slight bit of polishing. This was really cool.

Actually really solid game despite the rough art style! It was really fun to play and despite the seemingly immature art style, it works well and gives this game some character. Absolutely one of the better games out there.

For a first time, this is very strong. Still a fun game to play regardless of running out of time. If you have time, pls check my game out as well it would be super helpful :)

Ah that makes sense! Still a very good game, honestly everything there but some missing animations make it feel very polished and smooth to play.  Your teammate is a great artist for sure! If you have time,  pls check out my game, I haven't gotten a lot of reviews yet :)

It is a very solid game, but a bit unbalanced, the lasers are hard to time in the first few rounds but become super easy later on when you get used to it, perhaps scaling difficulty would help and make the first rounds easier. Also quite tedious after a few lasers. Very cool though, and I haven't seen anything like this so far! Very strong interpretation of the theme here.

One of the better games made by solo developers, which is quite impressive. I would suggest adding more states for your chracters for better directional movement as the game feels very flat right now. Also there may be some consideration for a tutorial? A bit confusing when I first started playing. Overall it was for sure better than most games I have seen so far.

Hm not completely sure about the goal of the game here. The concept seems solid but excecution could be improved. Making sure that the player knows what is happening at all times and keeping the game thrilling would be helpful. Also the atmosphere is not very scary. I'd suggest using a darker and more spooky color theme.

I like the art and the details you encorporated (such as rocks as obstacles). I do suggest making the pixel sizes of the frog and snakes identical to the grass to ensure that they look like they belong together. The map is a bit small, perhaps a very simple procedurally generated map could be useful. Furthermore, the gameplay itself is a bit bland if you consider that there isn't a whole lot to do. There is some consideration for adding other cool gadgets and powerups that can give you levels to make this almost a roguelike experience. Overall great game but needs more depth. Good job!

The pixel art lacks some cohesion, you used multiple different asset themes, which is ok, but here they don’t work very well together. I do love a good incremental game, but I do notice some things that could be improved such as the speed being the default speed when a new person is added, There could have also been a few more buttons and other features to make the game less one-dimensional. Overall, this is a great attempt though!

The art is quite good, but I’m a bit confused about the gameplay?
