thanks so much for playing the game and for the feedback :) I think with a bit more play testing I would have made the AI follow you if you pull on the tether so he's a little less frustrating haha. Thanks again :)

Thanks so much for playing my game and for the feedback :) This was my second game jam and my first go wasn't very playable so I'm glad this one was. Thanks again!!

Cool idea!

Wow super fun game!!! I'm glad it only expands to a certain point because if this expanded for ever, I think I'd be playing it forever haha. Great job!!!!

I just had another play through... GOLD!!

If you ever want to make a stupid little game together let me know. I've only really played around with 2D stuff so far but I'm getting my head around Unity now, and I can also make music (although I didn't for my game, just used my friends music cause he's good and 2 days to make a game is not long, as you know). So yeah, let me know if you're ever keen and we'll chat. No pressure if you don't :)

Cool idea!! I got to the end of the game which is always a great sign for a game jam game :)

Great fun little game but couldn't work out how to retry once I died. I tried every key on the keyboard and mouse but just had to control/alt/delete my way out and reboot the game for another go. Apart from that, cool idea that you're just trying to make friends to keep you alive and without them you'll die super fast :)

 Well done!!

Really cool idea!! At first controlling 2 people at once was crazy but you made it surprisingly easy for me to get my head around without too much effort. The slow pace may have helped not feel out of control. Well done!! :)

Great job!! Super brutal for not so great gamers like myself haha. Running out of swaps was frustrating when you needed to check for stuff and weren't allowed anymore, but also a cool idea limiting your swaps so you can't be too cautious and "swap happy", instead the game wants you to memorize the locations of the turtles and "pet specific" platforms. Awesome idea and great execution :)

Holy crap man this was amazing!!! Such a funny journey. The narration was so dam good!! I was laughing so much at the black "middle section" and into the conclusion of the missing story in the last level haha. I was totally amazed when the last level appeared!! Amazing job man!! Best game I've played the jam so far :) Such a shame the -1 was missing from the code.

Sounds like we started making games around the same time. My first game was for GMTK 2020. If you get a chance I'd love some feedback on my little "Saving Mr Red" game. I'm aware it frustrating, unimaginative, and ugly, so don't be afraid to be honest haha.

hahah yeah Mr Red is a stupid/stubborn dude for sure!! After uploading I was thinking I totally should have made him turn around when the tether gets tight so he's more compliant.  Thanks so much for playing and the feedback :)

WOW!! this game is amazing!! super nice style, simple and fun puzzles (which is so hard to get that balance right), lovely movement, just a super enjoyable experience. If this took a month that would have been a great job, but in a weekend... AMAZING!! :)

A fun little game :) The collisions were off but a nice little world to be part off. Cool music, cool slime characters, cool game. One note, I found myself having to move quite long distances without anything happening (mainly in the last level) and the player movement was quite slow, so maybe just add a "move quicker" button to speed up those sections? Run or dash type movement. But awesome job!! :)

Same issue as TetrisKid48, just says I have to pay for the pro version and wouldn't load :(

Great fun little game :) My only advice would be to remove all the "heaps of faith" (those jumps where the next platform is off the screen so you just have to hope you're jumping to the correct place).Apart from that, great fun.

Oh, that level where the hog is right in front of you and when you get too close it jumps of the cliff to it's death, that was a super hard level!! Took like 15 goes before I managed to get to him before he jumped haha

Exact same story as Gawdayumeet. Managed to find Z button did some stuff, then once in the battle I tried every key on the keyboard and mouse and nothing would progress the battle. Looked fun! I wish it had worked :)

I just couldn't work out what to do sorry. I could move and change camera angle as stated in the narration, but just couldn't interact with the objects in any way. Shame because it looked like a crazy fun concept!! if you upload a fixed version please let me know so I can have a go :)

Same as zjluzj. Can't run it!

awesome game!!!! and great tutorial buttons on the home screen. that's a super cool idea!!

Not sure if you still wanted to know how to pass level 12 but I made a little video for you :)

Amazing game man!! I like how everything in every level served a purpose. Clean and clever lever design :)

I found the later levels super challenging, not so much finding the solution as executing the solution.

If I have any constructive feedback and say make performing the actions of the solution easier, that was it's less of a pixel perfect platformer and more trying to solve the puzzle. Unless that's what you were going for, in which case I'd say, well done!! :)

Either way, sweet game dude. And amazing that you did it in 3 days while also recording a dev log video at the same time. Mad skills!!

Thanks for the message! I'm glad it was a more enjoyable experience this time round :) Love the idea of having more of a directional flow to the levels the branching off for difficult sections! I'll let you know once I've made some more levels. Have a great day :)

Thanks for playing and sorry about the glitches!

I've fixed the controls and have done a bunch more testing using the keyboard it should be all good (fingers crossed) so I'll have this uploaded in the next 24 hours. I'll send you a message once it's uploaded :)

this game is wicked!!!!! Such a cool idea. Forgetting about the bullets and playing by touching the buttons to the player was awesome fun too!

Level 7 broke me haha

Great job!

Great fun! I felt my control over the player was super "in control", even when using that sweet wind glide, but with every teleport I felt lost and needed to get my bearings on where I was and where I needed to go, which made me feel very out of control!

Knowing where I needed to get to and not having the control over getting there due to the random teleports was a really nice idea.

Great work!

thanks so much for playing and the awesome feedback!!

I think you're 100% on the money with the slower introduction to the mechanics, and maybe saving the uphill climb until a later stage is a great idea too!

This is the first game I've shown the world and has been a great learning experience and feedback like this is unbelievably helpful so thanks again for taking the time to play and send me the message :)

I'll work on it some make and let you know once it's done.

Thanks so much for playing and for the detailed feedback! Greatly appreciated!!

I'll work on fixing the issues and upload an amended version ASAP (hopefully in the next week).

Thanks again :)

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'll definitely work on a better explanation of the mechanics in the future :)

Thanks for playing Sleepy! Glad you like it :)

Hello again, if you have a moment are you able to watch this video and let me know if you're able to do the things that I'm able to do?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I91bPYDDuH4

Just need to work out what's going wrong so I can improve my skills! :)

thanks theguspassos! it sounds like a few people have had "getting stuck" issues. I'm glad you enjoyed the parts that worked :)
