Hi everyone,
I've been working on No Context for Old Men — Chadventures in the Stacycalypse, a situation-based card game built around absurd characters, meme humour and unexpected combinations.
You choose three cards from your hand and play them against three face-down opponent cards. Rock, Paper and Scissors provide the familiar foundation — but context changes everything. A card that's useless in one situation might be exactly what you need in another, whether you're in a classroom, trying to get past a nightclub door, or surviving an awkward date.
Winning combinations can unlock upgrades, while special interactions let you capture opposing cards, recover discarded cards or steal from the opponent's hand. Between matches you build your collection, fuse duplicates into Silver, Gold and Diamond editions, or burn spare cards for dust to buy new ones.
The opening Classroom matches act as a tutorial, but I'm particularly interested in how well the game works for somebody encountering it without me explaining it first.
It's playable directly in the browser on both phones and computers:

If you give it a try, I'd especially like to know where you got confused, what surprised you, and whether you wanted to play another match once you'd figured out what was going on.
Thanks for taking a look!
