I've enjoyed the game so far! I had a quick question, and I apologize if its already been asked before: Is there a plan in the future for adding more negative consequences to losing battles? I appreciate the focus on colony building and territory expansion, but I've always enjoyed the risk and reward of potentially losing party members. - Whether that be monstergirls escaping into the wilds, or party members needing rescue after losing in a dungeon raid.

Again, I apologize if you've already answered this one- I'm still excited about the project either way.

Looking forward to the finished product!

Not bad!

I had a lot of fun with this! Who knew I wanted to restrain cthulhu.

Not bad but chaotic with one player.

Cute! I had a lot of fun.

Fun, but I got stuck running laps.

Lots of fun, I'll have to play it a few more times.

Fun, just tedious... but then again that baked into the game's narrative.

Not bad, though I think the Rock, Paper, Scissor chart could be included in the game itself. Also maybe adding more than one round, or more characters to duel. Overall, fun and cute!

Straight forward, fun, and playfully animated. I think this could be a fun game if expanded, or if given a multiplayer option- like someone controlling each archaeologist or someone controlling the mummies.

Pretty fun, but a bit chaotic.

Once I understood how to get combos going I was able to win pretty consistently. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of direct item activation, made it feel like I was doing less and watching more.

Also, could be on my end, but the banner to prompt the jam rating was blocking some of the item descriptions in the UI.

This was great! I had  great "Ah ha!" Moment on the last level. Figuring out the mechanics and your puzzles felt pretty satisfying without being too vexing. I thought the sprites were cute and I thought you got the aesthetic of the cyber chain down just right.  The backing track was just the right tempo and I enjoyed how the girls' hops seemed in time with the track.

Well done, very fun!

I thought this was really cute. A few of the spooks had me clicking around a bit, but I got there in the end.

Wow, just wow.

So, first, let me start by thanking you for this submission! I do recall your previous Tetris based story and its mad scientist ray guns- though I'll admit I didn't immediately realize you were the same author until reading your end card. Goes to show folks can have a range.

As for this story, I'll be honest in saying I was blown away. Maybe I just haven't taken time to sit with immersive fiction in a while, but I found myself getting drawn in and emotionally invested. I did read your content warning on game page prior to reading, which I appreciated- though that didn't keep my heart rate from climbing when the time came.

I'm being a bit vague here, as I really do hope others read your work. I wouldn't want to spoil the experience. I think your story certainly took the theme of connection seriously and has left me with a lot to ponder. We all seek out connection, trust, and intimacy. Yet, we can't have intimacy without also making ourselves vulnerable, in one way or another, be that emotionally or physically. You just can't have the tender intimacy of being held in another's arms without also being vulnerable to whatever harm they could possibly inflict on you, should they choose to betray your trust.

TLDR:

I really enjoyed this submission and I found it emotionally moving, thoughtful in its reflection on trust and vulnerability, and keeping intricately tied with this Jam's theme. Bravo! - Also kudos to your vocal volunteers! Their contributions added another excellent layer to this experience.

It took me a second to figure out how the different combinations flowed into each other, but after about half an hour of trial and error I got it down. I thought it was pretty fun and I felt like it was a creative way to play with the Jam's theme. Especially considering pushing your sub too far would result in her being overwhelmed and, you vulnerable to attack. While its mostly a puzzle game, the combinations and negative effects from the wrong combos supported (at least to me) a patient and defensive play style that, from a  narrative stand point, got me to consider managing my partner's stamina and limits.

Cool concept, well done!

I thought it had an interesting concept, but I'm not great at platformers to begin with. I dug the backing track, and I thought the bouncing mechanic was pretty cool, though I wish it had a bit more umph. I kept wanting to get more momentum then was possible so it led to a lot of false starts. Cool stuff though!

Dude let's GOOOOO! - This game always pushed my niche buttons of kink content and Advance Wars.
