Sorry the links aren’t working! They worked when we posted the jam, I’ll look into it! In the meantime, here’s a new link: https://discord.gg/kbEt6hm2 . DM me (Joze) once you’re in there and I’ll get you your late-submit link.

From the jam rules:

“Your little guy does not have to be a guy! “Little guy” simply refers to a being that is little and small and silly and goofy. In this context it is gender neutral! Little and small being defined as 3ft tall or shorter.”

A little guy is a little guy! Very small!

it really did :(

This is so cute! The visuals are great, I really, really like the color scheme and the 2000s-ish anime artstyle. I also like how it's designed with mobile in mind, but still runs well on PC. I never thought of putting mobile games up on Itch, so this is a really cool thing to see!

oooooouuuuuughhhhhh this is so good! everything about this is awesome. super fun game with a really great vibe!!

hell yeah look at those little guys go

i have the same issue, both the web and the windows version (granted i'm on linux so i'm running it through wine) crash for me. it looks really, really cool tho!!!

Generative AI includes images, writing, and code, basically anything you would ask an AI to make or generate for you. So you're not allowed to generate any code with AI, but there may still be ways for you to get by with as little code as possible.

If you're worried about not being able to code something in time, either pare the scope of your game down as far as you can so the code is as simple as possible (there are some tutorials online that will basically land you with a complete game in an hour or less!), or use an engine that doesn't require code like GDevelop, Construct, or RPG Maker. Playable really just means "can I run the game and does it do SOMETHING". It doesn't have to be good, and we'll be running the jam again every month, so you'll always have another chance to try something bigger when you have the time.

I really appreciate you asking for clarification on our no generative AI rule instead of just going for it! Good luck with your game and with your studies!!

Hi there! There's no limit to how many people can be in a team as of yet. This may change for future jams, but for now you can work with as many people as you want!

it's very cute! i like the visuals a lot, especially the intro. you've got a good foundation here that you could add a lot of content to if you wanted to keep working on it!

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much!

I'll admit the raspberry is in kind of an awful spot, but it also kinda just rolls into that position once the game starts. I set the position of everything pretty carefully before I was done, but the raspberry refused to cooperate!  Given more time I would have tweaked the terrain a bit so it would stay snugly in a less annoying spot. Sorry for the frustration!

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much otherwise! It means a lot!!

Thanks so much! There's definitely some Pikmin influence here, it's one of my favorite game series!

Were you using the 1.0 build or 1.1? The 1.1 build contains some bug fixes that should prevent objects from clipping into walls and the floor, along with making both Q and E work for the object drop-offs. If these issues found a way to persist into the 1.1 build, let me know!

i LOVE the art style of this. all the visuals are perfect. the aiming is a little difficult, but otherwise it's fun!
