Hi developers! I'm Joystead, and I've released Urban96: 96 complete, animated civilian characters for shop simulators and everyday worlds.
A shop feels more alive when customers look like different people. Urban96 gives you a ready-made cast for shop customers, town residents and street pedestrians, with 48 male and 48 female characters. Every character is a full-body, clothed, rigged model with Unity Humanoid setup and six everyday animations.

Build a varied cast for your simulation
The characters combine different faces, hairstyles, natural hair colors, skin tones and body shapes, each with one fitted outfit. You can randomly select and rotate these 96 characters in your game's spawning system to bring variety to returning customers, passing pedestrians or a town's residents, rather than having the same few people appear repeatedly.
The included animations cover standing idle, walking, taking/reaching, sitting down, seated idle and standing up — useful building blocks for shopping and everyday life scenes. The character prefabs, materials and animation controllers are already configured, so you can focus on your own gameplay.
What's included
- 96 full-body FBX character models and configured Unity Humanoid prefabs
- Six everyday animations per character: Idle, Walk, Take/Reach, SitDown, SeatedIdle and StandUp
- URP materials, textures and animation controllers
- An interactive gallery scene to browse the characters and try their animations
- Usage instructions and source/license records

Are you building a shop simulator, a town or another everyday setting? I'd love to hear how you would use this cast and which civilian actions you need next.
