Haha oh thanks very much! I had a lot of ideas for sprinting and different rotation speed, or just using wasd movement altogether, but i felt rotating and pushing forward to swim made the most sense, but it definitely couldve been better. I also had lots of ideas for more levels, like mr serious would start throwing grenades, dropping sea mines etc. but this being my first game, just getting this basic version made took me the whole week. In future, however, after fixing the more basic stuff (movement, ui, scoring, enemy ai etc., you know, just those small things), i might make more levels, have the player maybe collect powerups, speed boosts, shields, maybe weapons to attack back etc. But all in due time i guess. Thanks again for playing and being so kind :)

Thank you! yeah, the score system was one of the trickier things, i bounced around on a few ideas before settling on four corners. One long baguette would probably have been better, but i was worried about the gameplay area getting squished from a big sprite on one side, but i think if i come back to the project ill definitely improve it someway like you suggest. And as for the targeting, dont get me started haha. Trying to get him to aim ahead of the player/throw faster, but not too far ahead/fast, and only a bit ahead if the player is close/slow/on a steep angle etc. Another thing ill try my best to fix if i come back. Thanks again for playing and giving feedback :)

Haha yeah the projectile/aiming logic was the most difficult thing to program, this being the first time ive ever tackled something like this before. What i was going for was I wanted the player to be able to dodge or at least have to think about dodging the rocks, and thus have the enemy aim ahead, based off of player speed, relative direction, distance etc. Plus some randomness to throw the player off. Obviously, i havent got the balance right in this version, if i come back to this project thats one of the first things on my list. Thank you for playing my game and giving me feedback! :)

Thank you so much for playing my game! I flip flopped a lot while making the game about what rewards/punishments the game should have and balancing them, as well as whether the controls should use turning or simple wasd movement, managing difficulty and length etc. Thank you for the feedback, I'll be sure to return the favour with your submission :)
