I'm looking for an artist,  2D or 3D, to help me with character sprites and backgrounds for an emo-themed, time-travel, chuuni, and slightly denpa Visual Novel inspired by Elfen Lied and Steins;Gate. Note: this game is heavily inspired by Brazilian themes of late 2010s. Being a Brazilian and/or an emo is *not a requirement*, but it'd be pretty cool if you were :D

DEVELOPMENT:

Development time: about 3 months (earlier, depending on the support received). I can do the programming by myself, and the first draft of the game story is already done at 25.190 words (currently, I'm in the first revision process), so it's """just""" a matter of coding the visuals and sounds.

Commercial or free project?:  the game will be available for download for free, but depending on the reception, of course, we may look into turning this into a commercial project, in which case the payment would be by [Revshare]/Revenue Sharing.

I'm looking for: 

• Character Artist: someone to create the character's designs and sprites.
• Background Artist: Someone to create the game backgrounds. 
• Renpy Codder: I can code myself, but hey, if you're looking for a (relatively) quick project for your portfolio, feel free to leave a comment.

ABOUT THE GAME:

The game is about an emo boy and girl caught in a time-travel conspiracy theory in a small coastal town in Brazil in 2011, it involves time loops and a bit of gore. It has 4 endings, 9 characters (a big number, I know, but most of these are basically "recolors" and shouldn't look too different from each other), and 9 backgrounds. The number of art pieces required may be reduced (or increased, if you're fine with that).
The feeling I'm aiming for here is, as previously mentioned, that of the animes Elfen Lied and Steins;Gate: somewhat old school anime art style, bizarre plotlines, and progressively darker themes and twists.

ABOUT ME:

My name is Jonas, I've been a ghost writer for VNs, books, and blogs for about 4-5 years, worked on a couple of games in other genres too, and finally decided to try and put my name on something. I also have a few books published in my country, Brazil, both through publishers and self-published, as well as a blog and a small TikTok page with 3.000 followers, if this matters.
Basically, I'm trying to take the next step in my career, and create something authoral in the game market.

I'm a creative writer with a bachelor's degree in history, a great deal of interest in philosophy and sociology, and a few published books in my country of origin (the image below comes from the second edition of one of my books), and I mostly work with fantasy and many of its subgenres, but I have dabbled into horror and sci-fi before too.

If you want someone to discuss your ideas with, a co-writer, or even a main writer, I'm more than just available.

And while I'd be flattered by invitations to work on great expansive projects of large magnitude, I must make it clear already that I'll not involve myself in such vast-sized passion projects for no monetary compensation, however.
