My first GameJam: MV-(Easter)GameJam 2024

The theme is “Gaze into the Distance”.
Feel free to incorporate the following challenges in any combination, but it’s optional, and you can easily skip them if you prefer.
- The soundtrack has a completely different style than the rest of the game.
- Include at least 3 sound effects you’ve received from other jammers.
- Use the player’s name to randomize parts of the game.
- Implement cheats. The GameJam lasts for 48 hours.
My contribution or my kids’ idea:
In the starry sky, you see bats searching for food. They try to catch fireflies to nourish themselves. The player observes one of the bats with binoculars to control it. The bat needs food and hunts fireflies. It loses energy when flapping. Red fireflies subtract energy, while green and yellow add some. It can land on the ground. On the ground, a predator can attack you. There are other bats also searching for food.
