I LOVE your direct feedback on both the programming and game design. This is my first game as both a programmer and designer, so you’re absolutely right on those points, lol. The current code structure is pretty inefficient and definitely needs a full overhaul. Now that I’ve got a better grasp of the Godot engine, I’m planning to rewrite the whole structure for better performance in the next version.

The roguelike system is also being redesigned to offer more build variety, and to make each player choice feel more meaningful as the run progresses.

Thanks again for your in-depth feedback—it means a lot!

So nice to hear that your audience was drawn to the game. That gives us a lot of confidence in the visual design direction! We’ve also heard the color issue from a few others, so we’re definitely working on adjusting it to improve readability while keeping the overall aesthetic feel. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback on the button issue! I’ll definitely highlight that in a short tutorial in a future version.

Best wishes for your game development as well!

Nice to hear you enjoyed playing! The shop is designed to appear only after finishing a level, but I can see how that might be confusing. I’ll make sure to add a clearer explanation in a future update. Thanks for the review!

Thanks for your suggestions on the UI! I totally agree. it really needs a lot of improvement, especially the interactions with the shop and relics. Due to time constraints, I haven’t had the chance to properly design that part yet, and honestly, even for me the interaction still feels a bit awkward. Also thank you for pointing out the trademark issue with “Jello.” Since I’m just starting out in game development, I’m not very sensitive to things like that yet. Your heads-up is super helpful :). Thanks again, will keep working on improving it!

Glad to hear you enjoyed how the game feels to play. 22,550 is already higher than my first run😄!

The shop is there to let players trade relics, so they can build stronger setups as they progress through runs. In the next version, we’re planning to add a tutorial that will also explain how the shop works. A fullscreen option is on the list too!

Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts. Please stay tuned!

Nice to hear you had fun with my game! I totally agree with your critique of the currency and relics system. We're already in the process of redesigning that part—to allow for more possible build paths while avoiding the “save nearly all your jello” situation you mentioned. And of course, we’ll be polishing the feedback for the new system too.

The cursor was kind of a random creation—we just thought it looked fun, lol. But you're right about the imprecise clicking issue. It’s definitely something we’ll work on improving.

I also looked into the whole “JELL-O” thing—turns out it’s something we completely missed, since we’re not that familiar with this US brand. We might need to come up with a new name. Thanks a ton for pointing that out, and for all your super helpful feedback!

I see, it’s important to slay the monsters in order.

Simple and fun. I see the potential to add more upgrades!

Like the concept. But it feels like unwinnable...

Weird, but I had fun!
