Hey everyone! I鈥檓 planning to make my first short game, and I鈥檇 love to hear from people who have already been through the process.
I have some new ideas and weird stories I鈥檇 like to turn into games 馃槄. I don鈥檛 know much about coding yet, so I鈥檒l probably start with something like RPG Maker and learn along the way.
For those of you who have made and released a game: what was your first experience like? What do you wish you knew before releasing it, and what mistakes did you make along the way?
I鈥檓 also curious about how you got your first players and how long your first game took to make.
And one thing I鈥檝e been wondering about: is pixel art still a good direction for indie games?
