ART <3

It's impressive how polished this game is considering how little time it was in development. Nice job.

I got lost a few times because of the language barrier.

  • Out of muscle memory, I tried to capture the rook multiple times. :p
  • The start sound woke me up !
  • Very nice!!

The only negative thing I can say is that, while the Constructivist poster-inspired visuals work well for the art style, the thin font used for the text makes it a little tiring to read after a while.
I also had to zoom out in my browser to read everything properly.

    Very satisfying and responsive controls.nice

It looks like it has complexity and depth, but to be honest, I didn't understand how to play it :P

I'm not sure about the interpretation of the limitation, but the interpretation of the theme was fresh and very clever.

    Nice game idea and execution.

The only issue I noticed that could "break" the game is in the third stage: to align the knights, I had to move the controlled knight outside the visible area to realign the tiles. I'm not sure whether this is a problem with the tiles, an intentional mechanic, or something that needs a clearer visual indicator (similar to the white and black tiles in chess).

    Thank you! :)

We had planned to add more visual upgrades for the units, one additional tower and vfx, but we chose to spend that time fixing bugs, balancing the game, and polishing the overall experience.

yea it works. nice game idea :)

Thank you for your kind words! :) We tried our best

    Very clean and satisfying controls
    nice

Very nice visually and consistent throughout. The design scope is well suited for a game jam.

    A very mature execution.

    Hello

I don't know if this is specific to the browser version, but the limbs weren't resisting when I moved them. They would instantly snap to the target rotation, and after doing that with every limb, the game froze.

Very good idea. It took me a while to understand how to play—I had to read the description 5–6 times.

The only unsatisfying thing I experienced was that it felt like a lot of work constantly shifting my view between the timer for the next card, the cards already drawn, and the player, since they are located on three different edges of the screen.

    Very clever idea and execution!

The only problem I had (in the browser version using the Brave browser) was that after claiming the 5th tile, the game started lagging to an unplayable degree.

    nice !

    Hello,

I started the game, but I didn't receive any cards. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Please comment here when you have something you want to share. I would like to check how you used the asset and your feedback. :)

    Thank you
I’ll take that as a compliment

    Hello!
I forgot to include a license when I first uploaded the asset. I’m currently working on a revamped version and will add the license there.
Feel free to use and modify it however you like. I’d just prefer that it isn’t redistributed. Credit is optional.
I’d be happy to see what you make with it :)

You did an in-depth review, much appreciated :)

    click it :)

Hello, do you have discord ?

Hello, 3D artist here. I’m looking for at least a coder, and any other roles we might need.
I’m familiar with Unity and Godot.

here some of of my work: https://linktr.ee/DimPanagiot

So, something like change this assets have base variants that act as a "base mesh" with size categorizations (gray color). Then, the next variants I make are add-ons placed on top of those base meshes (with colors). This way, I can control how they intersect, right?

I'm already planning a few of those.

I will implement the second layer for sure. Thank you :)

How would you tackle the idea of the sockets if every set has a different size? Is it a problem if the "extra" parts intersect?

Isn't this limiting the idea of the fixed color schemes?

Thanks a lot for the feedback! It's great to hear from someone who ships asset packs.

You mentioned having a few tips on making modular assets production-ready. I would be very grateful if you could share even one or two of them. Any advice would be a huge help for me and for anyone using the pack.

sent your contact info to dimitris.panagiotopoulos.cgi@gmail.com

It really makes me happy to see my asset come to life so fast!
I’m not sure what your project’s scope or direction is (whether it’s focused on boxing or something bigger), but I do plan to keep updating and expanding the asset over time.

If it gains some traction, I’m planning to add more commonly used animations — like dodge, crouch, directional movement, two-handed weapons, rifles, etc. — along with new asset packs featuring more modular body parts, weapons, attachments, and environment pieces. Basically, the kind of stuff you’d expect to find in a mech or sci-fi pack.

If you ever need something more specific or outside that scope, like martial arts animations, feel free to DM me so we can find a solution that works for both of us.

To be honest, focusing on unarmed combat wasn’t something I had planned, but if it’s something people are interested in, I’d be happy to work on it.

I hope you find them useful :)

I’ve made a free 3D asset (a modular 3D character) and uploaded it.
Anyone who wants to share some feedback would really help me improve it — and maybe I’ll release more packs for this asset in the future.

Thank you for your feedback on our game! I'm happy to share the 3D assets (Blender file) — feel free to use them in your own game if you'd like. I can attach a Google Drive link here if you're interested!
