Great game, I'd just make the first option in the main screen "Continue" instead of "New Game"

Very good. I like how the SFX sound thick and juicy. It would be nice to have an indicator of where enemies will spawn before they do so you can stay clear of those areas in between stages.

Awesome! I loved it. Woulda appreciated a quick tutorial so I could grasp the mechanics of the game faster.

Best game I ever played in Pico-8. Played through it 3 times now

Game was good. End was anticlimactic. Felt like I needed to see what was behind the wall after all my hard work and strivings.

go to the highest platform and jump into the middle of the horns then dash out via the platform again

Also, just broke the game. I surfed on the body of water under the train station at the weather station and I fell right through it and now I've fallen out of screen and can't get back.

Sometimes the train will leave and Val will disappear, but the scene doesn't change. I've been able to press ESC to get Val to reappear, and choosing a different train door to go into seems to work.

I can't jump while simultaneously moving right. I can jump while simultaneously moving left. I also can't hold down the right key and wall jump at the same time. The left key doesn't have this issue.

Rob's shop won't do anything. Talking and leaving works fine, I just can't open the shop.

I'm using the web player running ver 0.18.14b. Idk if these issues will stay if I downloaded the game, but I don't want to lose my progress. (Just finished visiting the whole city)

Other than these issues, I have fallen in love with this game (big fan of good pixel art and sweet pixel animations and lore)

Also, adding a mission tab to the menu would be great so that I can remember my current mission.

Hey y'all! I made my first game for itch. I got the idea from being bored reading my school textbook and wanting to play games instead, but not wanting to get caught slacking. It's the classic snake game, but it turns your current screen into the playing field. You basically move around and try not to touch anything black. Your goal is to get the red dot (food) and get your score to 100. Here's a screenshot:
