Thanks for the kind words and feedback! The challenge can definitely be circumvented by just creating tons of the same berries but I didn't have a ton of time at the end to really balance the game, sorry! As for the fps drop, I'm surprised that's the case as the berries don't process when they are resting, I'll have to keep performance more in mind for my next project!

Having a complete shop, building system, and farming system is super impressive for a game done in 9 days, especially considering this is your first GWJ! The pixel art was very well done and the notifications at the top right were super helpful for knowing what was going on, great job on the clarity. Farming and brewing were fun mechanics as well!

The only issue I had was some kind of desync with the mouse so as others said, I had to use the arrow keys to go full screen, but other than that the game was fantastic. Great job!

Super short, super spooky, and super well done! This game was really challenging, I ended up acting out the procedures in real life to make sure I wouldn't forget during the real thing lol. The whispering at the end of every brew was really ominous and added a lot to the atmosphere. Great job keeping the game in scope and making a polished, finished product!

This game was so unique and so well done. There are so many systems at play that I'm shocked you were able to make this all in 9 days. The old timey music and camera filter really add to the atmosphere as well. Well done to the both of you!

This game was so cozy! I loved the art style, everything was cute and the mall setting was so well done for how simple the effect was. It was also cool to get the experience of working at a boba shop. This is definitely something I would have played in class like cool math games. Great job!

This was such an interesting take on the theme. I really enjoyed the combat, it felt snappy and satisfying and the printer enemies added just the right level of difficulty. Everything looked fantastic as well. I really liked your implementation of the berry theme as power ups too, they were fun to use!

The only feedback I have is that with the rate that enemies drop coffee, the game was a little too easy for my liking. As well as that, the music was very repetitive and stressful, but maybe that's what you were going for!

Either way the game was fun and I enjoyed it a lot. Great job!

This was an adorable game. I loved the idea of a coffee shop that opened up only after dark for the ghosts and ghouls. The art was great, the detail of the drink sliding down into the transparent ghost body was so good! The cat was cute too.

Some issues I noticed were that the UI is difficult to read. I see numbers, white markers, and other symbols that I know mean something but it's hard to figure out what. The sliders on the shopping phase adjusting to fit how many more of each item you can buy threw me off, I'd prefer to the slider to just represent the amount and be told I don't have enough money to buy that amount if it's too much. Lastly, it didn't seem like I ever lost money after buying ingredients so the strategy and challenge was gone after the first few nights.

Overall this has been one of my favorites from the jam so far. Great work!

The ship art was very nicely done, and the music that played once you enter was fantastic. I wasn't able to actually interact with anything outside the ship or figure out how to serve the customers, so a tutorial in game or written on the could be a nice addition. Cool idea though!

This is a really cool and unique game. Very creepy, great job with the atmosphere! Sometimes the arrows to exit a room were hard to see and I thought I got stuck since they blend in with the inventory bar decorations. Overall great job!

For some reason my first time playing it didn't work but after trying again it was working. Thanks!

Corralling the customers into the shop was definitely a challenge, but a fun one! I liked managing the water resource and the tension between keeping customers in the bar while staying topped up on blue berries. I couldn't figure out what the red berries were for but I can imagine that with more berries come more corralling mechanics which I would have loved to see. Great job!

This game had great art and the music was an absolute banger. It was really difficult and I couldn't ever reach the quota, I wish I could mix some ingredients while leaving out others but it seemed like all I could do was brew with everything in my inventory. If there was some more strategy involved I could definitely see this being an addictive game. Great job!

Great points. I've heard similar things from many other players so those are definitely things I will try to improve on for my next project! Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Very unique take on an ingredient collecting and brewing game! Being able to make your own potion using the stats from the ingredients was a cool idea compared to a lot of games that have preset recipes. Good job!

Very simple but fun. Reading the ingredients to find out what to use for each potion was a great feature that added a little depth to the game. Well done!

Absofruit cinema

Figuring out what each race liked was a fun challenge, I was surprised how much skeletons liked poo berry. The labeling and remembering what was what was another cool and unique idea. Very well done!

This game was a great break from a lot of slow potion brewing games. I loved racing around and trying to fit into the nooks and crannies to pick up ingredients. The controls were VERY hard for me to get used to because of the perspective but they became more natural after a certain point. Overall very enjoyable. Great job!

Such a cute game. The mouse having a huge wheel of cheese in it's shop was a great touch and being able to cross the river to collect different resources was so unique! Great job!

Quite the fun little exploration game! I was surprised when I realized pouring the potion revealed new areas all throughout the cave. The two tone art definitely gives your game a unique retro look. Well done!

Amazing game! I loved trying to figure out what these people were asking for and how to make it with the ingredients available, such a unique idea. The sounds and art were well done too. Great job!

This game was great! I loved the little walking animation and the rhymes from the wizards. Figuring out how to make the potions was tricky but once I got it I felt pretty smart. Great job!

This was one of my favorite entries out of the whole jam. The comic book style introduction was so charming and the puzzle mechanics really made me think. I've never seen anything done like that before with particles you can collide with so I was impressed. Great work!

I loved the cauldron's personality. The ingredients fell too fast for me to reliably stop the green ones but overall it was a fun experience!

The cat was so cute. This game has so much charm!

This game has so much charm! I loved the creative enemies and hazards and the game play was just difficult enough for me to want to keep going. I'm a big fan of your visual techniques as well! Great job!

Super cozy, super cute. Well done!

So glad you were able to beat it! I agree that visibility is one of the weakest aspects of my game, its definitely something I will try to improve in my next project! I'll have to give your game a play!

This game is so weird but that's what I love about game jam games. It was short but I'm glad I was able to experience it lol

This game was so cute! The pixel art was phenomenal and the cauldron effects? Fantastic! I wish I could have known some recipes before I started so I didn't have to craft so many weak potions, but the experience was still fun. Great job!

Definitely my favorite vampire survivors like game from this game jam. The brewing to get the witch in the center to help you in combat was super unique and I loved the idea. The effects were satisfying and impressive as well, especially the bouncing ball attack. Great job, I can see this being super addicting if you flesh it out more!

This game absolutely BLEW (pun intended) me away. I absolutely love the aesthetic and the music too. The strategy of picking your own hazards that you will then have to navigate in the next round gives the game so much depth. Somehow I ended up being unable to click anything in the 3D section of the game so I had to quit early but I loved every second when I was able to play!

This game is ridiculous in the best way. I laughed so hard when I pulled the level just to figure out what would happen and the character started flinging their pants around and then exploded. The strategy of picking out the best cards is a great feature. Good work!

I couldn't figure out how to win but the aesthetic of your game is phenomenal. It was so mysterious that I really wish I could've figured out how to open the door with the 5 balls. I'll be forever wondering what was inside! Well done!

Nice job! I loved how you created so many unique environments with such a limited number of tiles and colors. The scavenger hunt was fun and following the riddles felt intuitive. The music was super chill and the sound when the text reads out was satisfying too. Great job, I had fun completing it!

This is absolutely my favorite game I've played so far. I'm astounded you were able to accomplish this in a week. All the art is so detailed and your tricks for animating the character in engine were super clever. The audio is perfect and adds so much to the experience and all the different mini games were amazing surprises. Not to mention it was hilarious. The sudden inclusion of a 3D generator mad science device was hilarious. I spent the whole game wondering what this guys plan could be that involves so much fruit and the ending tied everything together and genuinely made me laugh. Thank you for this game, I can't wait to play more of your work!

I loved it! The boss fight was the perfect difficulty. It kept me on my toes while I was waiting for the ingredients. The attacks changing during the different phases genuinely surprised me. Great job!

I really liked how the different potions could be used for different situations, like the grey one was for far away single target, for the red one I grouped up enemies close by; that was super fun! I also loved the small square resolution it made it feel super retro and fit the theme perfectly. Loved it!

This was super fun. I really like the idea of a brewing based vampire survivors like and I think you nailed it. The potions were a little hard to aim but overall the game was great!

This game is one of my favorites so far. You were able to get so much character and charm into such a game with only a few sprites which was very impressive. The goblin was adorable and the perfect addition for a game that involves a lot of waiting. Being able to go click on him while waiting on the fermenting meant I never got bored. The music and scan line effect added to the vibe too. Great job!
