Yeah, I get that tranquil reminiscing...
This is the sound of acceptance of inevitability. Very moving!
Those twinkling synths work so well as scenic snowflakes drifting in and out of view.
This got me in the feels... A true auditory painting!
Great build and instrumentation! Those pseudo bagpipes doing the melody are sick!
The volume swells and trade off of the ostinato from cello to bassoon show your skill at orchestration!
Instead of a fade out, ending with a final forte of the ostinato with all the instruments in unison would have really made an impact! But, that depends on context. Tis a good riff!
The ending of X9, where more parts interact was a wonderfully chilly cacophony.
Your choice of synths and instruments are spot on for the theme.
I think more reverb piano parts in X10 would give a great sense of depth, like walking through a snowstorm.
The style of these two pieces is kinda Metroid, which I dig! I'm getting retro console vibes!
Talk about a hero's journey!
A lot of great concepts going on here! Love all the synchronous hits & cut aways! The use of your call back melodies, tied to specific instruments, make each section sound intentionally connected.
My only critique is that some melodies are not as strong; maybe the phrases should have moments to rest, or they could be doubled, etc.
Your electronic tones are sublime! Such good use of instrumentation and sound design. This is so much fun to listen to! I'm pumped to go on my own adventure now! It's like an eastern opera (electronic remix)!
Great emotional journey with the chord progressions! I really felt that loneliness tingling!
Footsteps in the snow are a good touch, but I think they should be further down in the mix, with some reverb for placement.
Overall, the rhythms of everything interacting, i.e the piano and synth layers, was just a bit distracting.
I felt the cohesion of the piece was riveting though. And I think tonal palette wise, you nailed it!

This is Lydian at it finest! So much space is created from the birds in the background!
The string ostinato and the piano voicings are lush, yet crystalline.
The drums simulate a gallop so you can feel the migration!
If you moved to a second chord center, like the IV or bVII, it would have added enough lift to truly fly!
I'm getting Silent Hill vibes! I want a foggy winter walk now.
I liked the change around 2:00 to a spookier soundscape.
I do wish there were more glitches/changes to the rhythms sprinkled throughout.
The trancelike quality of this piece gives an impression of a relentless snowstorm, that I want to be trapped in.
I like the blend of the acoustic palette with the synths, especially with the breathing swells into cutting out.
The change at 2:00 is my favorite part. It's like a "bossa nova" in the best way.
In this piece, I would have liked a counter melody or a doubling of the melody so that I have something to latch onto while the instruments move underneath. In some moments, the mix gets cluttered. However, the emotions remains strong!
This composition is fun with its many ear-candy moments. I want more of this happy vibe!
This sounds like a trailer for an open world game!
I think the mix and vibe are great! The last minute is definitely the best when the lower strings and voices come in.
The song structure of builds without a proper "drop" makes me want one! Gimme a soaring string crescendo with synths arpeggios to sell the idea of artificial life in the forest!
I think another section where the melody is traded between timbres/ instruments would help the pacing.
You nailed the theme though, on an epic scale!
The cohesion of each track is immersive. You managed to blend orchestral arrangements, retro-like sampled instruments, and the modern electronic aesthetics effectively.
My favorite piece of the five is "Climate Change" because you make reference to your other songs while adding new elements. The tempo changes and erratic nature are fun and interactive. I can picture these songs in a colorful polygon top down game.
The instrument choices make me visualize an early morning walk near a river. The foley in background is a good touch.
The mix needs some tidying up because the instruments blend together, especially in the lower frequencies.
I agree with BodoTheSerf that a wind melody would elevate the piece. Overall, this song flows with gravitas!
This is an inspired piece! The cheerful first half into the bloodborne-esque atonal onslaught is a great subversion.
The fact that the melody morphs with the changing mood adds cohesion to the disparate sections.
I didn't feel like any moment felt out of place, even as the instrumentation changes. Very fun to listen to!
