No problem! I'm so glad I could help. I mean, that's what these game jams are for, right? Improving.

Man, man, man, the presentation on this game is GLORIOUS. I love the art style and animations. It's the best I've seen on this game jam.

It's kinda like Undynes battle in Undertale, which I do like. the problem is, it feels like there's no difficulty increase. I think an increase in speed would be a very good idea. It would make it harder to get higher highscores.

I like the shield, but I think that it should maybe swing around instead of instantly appearing in a new location. It would prevent me from spamming buttons to just mindlessly destroy the killer orbs.

The cosmic felon never escapes :(

I get the strong feeling this is based on something bigger you're working on. The background, the amazing visuals, the idea itself. I want to see where this goes.

I like the idea a lot, and I can see a lot of potential in something like this, but I feel like it's too easy.

The ability to move Grumpy Carlson around is detrimental, I think. It makes it easy to solve things. I think it would be funny if he was so grumpy, he won't move.

I love the little lore bits in the game, I really enjoyed that about it. It gives more depth to the silly little game, and it's just fun seeing how these characters relate to each other.

I think, instead of having the aliens all automatically fill space, maybe having the player actually have to select where each one goes would make it more stimulating. Perhaps holding down the mouse button and dragging will place aliens in whichever tile your mouse drags over. I think that'll keep it from being tedious.

I love the art style, it's super charming and fun.

Overall, love it,  I just wish it was harder. Also, is the name a reference to Alien Isolation? If so, that's hilarious.

Hey, thanks for the honest feedback, I really appreciate it!

I do think the punching/objects could be used better, so the idea of having breakable walls and other things for Dot to interact with more frequently is very useful.

I designed this game to not need a mouse because of the fact I made this on a laptop, but I definitely did consider making it possible to aim the grapple. I'll definitely be testing out that idea in the future.

I'm also really glad you liked the art, I made it all myself. I actually was worried it was a weak point because I couldn't focus on it much. I'm planning on building this idea out and making a fuller version of it.

Once again, the feedback is greatly appreciated, as this is my first game jam.

Hey, thanks so much! Yeah, I wanted to add indicators for what could be grabbed, like a glowing outline or something along those lines, as well as sounds/music, but I simply ran out of time. I do want to build on this idea, though.

I know this is a game jam game and all but I was sad when it ended. Great game!
