Thanks! I struggled with the theme for quite a while. It wasn't until maybe the second-to-last day that I thought to add the flavor-text after an enemy is defeated.

Yes, more combat options would definitely help. Originally, I wanted to have consumables that could be used during combat, but I over-scoped the project and ended up running out of time. And thank you for complimenting the "unified" visual style; that's something I want to improve on with future projects. Funnily enough, all the world geometry (corridors, the enemy, the sword, etc.) are all prototype-placeholders that I meant to go back and touch-up.
Again, thanks for playing. I really appreciate the feedback, as well.
I liked the atmosphere and the game-balance; I died once, but after learning how the A.I. works, I was able to get all 5 bottles on my 2nd round (just barely). I like how She can't go through doors, so rooms become little "safe" areas. It'd be cool if you added the ability for the player to hide in/under objects; maybe something to add to RCL2!
Good job, B 👍
Sorry about that. Should be fixed now. Try this link https://discord.gg/8ns7aJZ4D3
i think i'm allowed to join my own game jam :)
here's a platformer i've been working on this weekend. the primary mechanic is going to be collecting water to use for your water jet pack thingy. i think mario sunshine did this, but i've never played it so i dunno.
i'll probably add some sort of fall damage next, and maybe some enemies.lemme know what you guys think.
thanks! yeah, i post stuff occasionally to my youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCllkDOL6-kMtnNuvcizrjtg it's mostly just WIP stuff atm
hi! my bad. i was rushing to finish this before i fell asleep, lol.
if you have all the components necessary to craft the boat, you can open the boat crafting menu (click the arrow on the right side of the screen), then click each item to craft it. once you've crafted enough of each object, the boat will appear.
My game, Split Screen Arena is out now! https://jellysandwich.itch.io/split-screen-arena
It was made in about 3 weeks for the Retro FPS game jam. It's my first completed Unity project, so I'm both proud and nervous about showing it to people. You'll need at least 1 controller (Xbox 360 controller recommended) to play it. If you don't have 3 friends with controllers, you can also play against the bots.
I hope you enjoy it!
I submitted my game https://jellysandwich.itch.io/split-screen-arena. You'll need a xbox 360 controller or equivalent to play it.
I had a lot of fun making the game. I wish I had been more active in the community, but I was pretty busy with my full-time job.
I thought it was a pretty cool idea for a game-jam, too. Once I got the idea in my head to make a 4-player split screen game, like the old Nintendo 64 games from back in the day, I couldn't stop working on it. It was also my first completed project made in Unity, so I learned A LOT.
Anyways, thanks again. I look forward to playing all the submissions.
:)
Very cool. The chillest game about disease I've played. The menus, music, and sound effects were all well done. I wish there was a way to move the camera with the mouse, but other than that, I think you accomplished a lot in a short time. A lot better than my own submission, ha! Looking forward to your future projects, dude!
