I played my game with the updates. Have you sped it up? The bugs whipped around before I could even look at them. Even the unicorn! I like watching them. It's the best part. I don't mind the time they take. Sorry but I prefer when it was slow. I thought you had it exactly right with the 4x. Now it's so fast on 1x I can't get there before it's gone. Maybe it's just my game.
I like the cleaning because you get to see them close up. Not sure why it needs it, but fine. It disappeared before I was finished, unfortunately. Everything just so fast! I love the atlas! That's interesting to look at. I hope it's blank at the start and each new specimen adds to it. I've got everything already so I can't tell.
Looking forward to your progress.
One small point - you say the bite upgrade the bugs remove 'pixels', in real life they do, but for emersion purposes, wouldn't it be more fitting for the narrative to be told they remove more soft tissue?
I loved this a lot! It was really fun to collect the specimens. I love the bugs! The museum is wonderful and I thought the names of the 'cinema and games' set were very funny. The specimens look great and many of them are spectacular! That worm!
I played on 4x and it was a satisfying speed. The huge specimens took a long time but well, they're huge so, of course. The game only got a little tedious towards the end when I only had a single dinosaur to go and it took a LOT of waiting for it to come up while I doubled up on the ones I had or did other things and kept an eye on the screen. I did spend lots of $$ on speeding up the turnover rate but even then it took a long time. I'm not sure if there should be more specimens coming up for the later exhibits once the earlier ones are complete, and not endless zombies and ghouls. I do like, though, that some are less frequent, and some rare. It feels good when I get them.
I think maybe the money is a bit unbalanced. I enjoyed having a lot of it but I wonder if perhaps the later stands in the museum and the specimens are underpriced. I had a lot to spend.
Could there be a label on the exhibits? I got mixed up with what I already had and what I had to get as the exhibits are skeletons and not immediately recognisable. I had to rely on the visitor comments.
I like the idea someone else mentioned of being able to change the order of the cold storage and remove some of the ones I bought.
I completed all the rooms in the end but it just keeps going. Is there an end or finale? It looks like the last room has room for more. Uncle should spruce himself up more with all the money I bring in for him! What a scruff!
Thanks for making this available to play in the browser. It was a lot of fun.
Hi, yes, I discovered that eventually. Looking forward to new stamps and that album. The starry sky is probably my most rare one apart from the 75c one. Sorting mail has become my relaxing 'in-between things' thing to do. I have completed almost a year of work as a postmaster. I love that there is no time limit to get stressed about. They get glares when they give me an overweight hockey stick going to Tater Isles.
I love it! I love the relaxing part of it. I love the idea of these sort of games but the time limit is too hard for me. With this one I can take my time and look at everything and yet still there's a challenge to do things accurately and consequences if I don't. It's v pleasurable to play. Id love to see more upgrades and features. Maybe a stamp collection album to tuck away the stamps I like. I'd definitely buy this game.
Does someone know how I 'collect' the 'limited edition' stamps?
Yes I thought heat might make a nice fire with which to burn away hats and tape. Maybe it's on a torch that can be carried so it doesn't hurt. Although, indestructible tape does provide a challenge that, rather than getting rid of it, you have to work around it. The one with all the pathe's was great. Maybe a peel could make them slip? (Elephants would not be able to zip up pants if the zip was on the top.)
