I've been making an RPG Maker (MV) game for about a year and it's been a long term project but there seems to be lots of stigma over the engine and I feel many people wouldn't play it due to the fact. Should I switch engines? I thoroughly enjoy using RPG Maker but I feel as if people would be averted away from my game.

There's always people willing to make music for little to no money. No matter what you think about the ethics of using ai music it will turn out like trash. People will complain about the music in your games if you use ai so best to either not have any music, learn to make your own music (highly recommend it's very fun once you get the hang of it), or just hire someone/get a volunteer.
