I liked the concept and the game as a whole. Though there's a couple of bugs and decisions that made it less enjoyable:

  • If you're right up against a disappearing wall when you dash, it stops you even if it's supposed to be passable
  • In one of the levels, I was falling through a purple platform on certain beats even though it looked solid
  • The hanging blade in the second-to-last level that isn't tied to the beat only means you have to wait longer to get the right cycle. I think the regular spinning blades would have been better there
  • The spinning blades that have a non-multiple-of-3 measure cycle also really increase the waiting time for the right cycle. In the last level, the horizontally moving blade has a 4-measure cycle so the level as a whole is on a 12-measure cycle

The browser playable version doesn't seem to be working; I don't want to remove it in case that removes the game entry from the jam. Does the downloadable version work for you?

Yeah, that's happened to me and others too - I'd remove the in-browser version but I don't want to risk it counting as a change and removing the entry from the jam. Does the downloadable version work for you?

I'm experiencing it too; I wasn't sure if it was just happening because of itch.io being busy around submission time, but it seems to be an issue with the build. I'd remove the browser version but I'm not sure if it will count as editing the game and remove it from the jam. Does the downloadable version work for you?

The in browser player runs slowly- at least on my end, so I'd recommend downloading it instead.
