This looks really dope. I'm looking forward to trying it out. Thanks for sharing it. Have a blessed Christmas :)

When I'm logged in and browsing through games, I should be able to re-download a game I've already purchased, when I come across it. I shouldn't have to go through my emails or purchase history on itch.io. It would also be nice if there were notifications indicating that there are updates to games, since I've last downloaded them. Finally, developers should be required to assign version numbers to games that they publish, so we know what we already have or don't have.
Merry Christmas and thanks for freely sharing your game! But how do you start Vs. From Below? I don't have a PC to run Mesen, just an Android device. It boots up just fine in every NES emulator I've tried. But no button presses, or combination of button presses will insert coins or start the game. If I don't press anything, it eventually goes into running a demonstration. But as soon as I press a key, it bounces me back to the title screen. I've tried with the touch interface and a gamepad. Help would be appreciated.
I've been hoping for an itch.io mobile app for a long time. When I saw the itch.io Insights app in the Google Play Store recently I got excited, only to immediately disappointed when I discovered that it was a developer app. Asap would be a good idea to get a user app on the market before companies like GOG or GameJolt launches their own first, not to mention the fact that Steam is already there.
Why This Makes Sense:
Mobile internet use surpassed PC use awhile ago, as well as the fact that there are more predominantly mobile and casual gamers in the world than there are that of hardcore gamers.
There's a higher percentage of the global population with mobile access and no PC access, than the other way around.
You'll find greater success when you make it easy and convenient for people to jump on itch.io to buy games, than you will with forcing them to use a browser that isn't as optimized for mobile use as an app would be.
This would also be a good opportunity to offer a premium/pro version that doesn't have ads and offers additional features. Make the price fair and well worth it though. Don't be that company that pisses off your customers and alienates them.
You're welcome 😉
