I've now implemented a patch which should make the real button the one on top on the rare occasion it gets stuck so it should still be accessible. (I also resisted the temptation to make this a deliberate feature on impossible mode!!)

I've just had a look. Avoiding the button ending up (temporarily or otherwise) trapped inside another button is a little tricky, but it should be easy to make sure the real button is the one you can click if they do get stuck. 

I'll do the quick patch tomorrow and then see if I can come up with a better fix to avoid the button getting trapped in another at all.
