I am a [Programmer] looking for [team]!

1. Introduction:

Hello, my name is Jason Terry, I am 26, a father, and a former US Marine, I am going to school right now for my BA in Computer Science, and programming is by far my number one passion. I simply love to code.

2. Skills:

I am a novice programmer, mostly familiar in C++, Java, and now I am working in C#, I am a good programmer I just lack some fundamentals when it comes to data structures and design patters, but I am learning them now as part of a hobby project and in school.

3. Programs/Languages:

A list of tech I have worked with, in order of how strong my skill set with each tech is.

C++

Java

C#

SDL2

OpenGL

GLFW

imGUI

SFML

git

UnrealEngine

Unity

4. Portfolio:

Games wise I don't have much to show that is worth looking at, I have made the odd pong clone, or text adventure in command line, but nothing really remarkable, and most of it is tutorial based code anyways. I am really hoping to find a team with a decent mentor to help me learn from, and someone I can assist over all in the project.

5. Contact:

I can get slack going again. I use Skype, email, google hangouts, and discord as my primary means of communication. IM me for the info! Or email me with a request. Gmail: jasonalantery@gmail.com

1. Hi there! What's your name? Want to introduce yourself?

Jason Terry

2. Did you participate in the last jam we held? If so, what do you plan on doing better this time? If not, what's your reason for joining?

No, this will be my first jam ever.

3. What games are your favorites? Did any of them inspire you, or made you want to make your own?

jrpgs tend to be the most inspirational, I am a system's nut.

4. Do you have experience with game development? What did you do/with what engine?

I tend to do my stuff without engines, using things like SDL, OpenGL, etc, I have worked with unreal / unity before but am trying to stick close to 2d stuff right now.

5. Tell us about something you're passionate about!

Programming!

6. Any advice to new jammers (if you're a veteran)?
