I like it, but could you please fix it so that when you scroll to a certain point in the dropdown menu, you can’t see where the next item will land? (See screenshot.)

Hi everyone! 👋

I've just released the first public beta of Tiny Swords RTS, a small real-time strategy game that runs right in your browser. It's free, with no download and no sign-up.

▶️ Play it here: janjetovic.itch.io/tiny-swords-rts

⚔️ What is it?

You start with a lone Castle and four Pawns on a randomly generated island. Chop wood, mine gold and hunt sheep, grow your base, then raise an army and destroy the red kingdom's Castle before it destroys yours.

✨ Features

  • Three resources: wood, gold and meat
  • Six buildings: Houses, Barracks, Archery ranges, Monasteries, Towers and Castles
  • Four unit types: Warriors, Lancers, Archers and healing Monks
  • An AI opponent that builds its own base and attacks in growing waves
  • A new random island every match, with fog of war
  • Easy, Normal and Hard difficulty, plus beginner tips for your first game
  • Classic RTS controls: box select, control groups, attack-move and hotkeys

💡 Why I made it

I wanted to make a small, approachable RTS that you can jump into in seconds, right in the browser. The beautiful art is the Tiny Swords pack by Pixel Frog, and the music and sounds are by The Ambient Fort.

💬 I'd love your feedback!

This is an early beta, so I really want to hear from you:

  • What was fun, and what was confusing or annoying?
  • Was the difficulty too easy or too hard?
  • Did you run into any bugs?

Leave a comment on the game page, or join the Discord to report bugs, suggest ideas and follow updates.

Best played on desktop with a mouse. Use the fullscreen button for the best view.

Thanks for reading, and good luck, commander! ⚔️

Hi everyone! I just released my first game, Silk & Storm: a trading game about leading a caravan along the Old Road.

The premise Your late mother left you two camels, her old journal, and her debt to the Varun family. You have 100 days to pay it back. Buy silk where it is spun, carry it across deserts, mountain passes and the Salt Sea, and sell it where nobles pay a fortune.

What makes it tick

  • Markets react to you. Sell too much silk in one city and the price drops, then slowly recovers.
  • You only know the prices you have seen yourself or heard on the road, and that news gets old.
  • Every route trades speed against risk. Deserts bring sandstorms, mountain passes close in winter, and the sea is fast but costs a fare.
  • Goods have a life of their own: fruit spoils, porcelain breaks, wine gets better with age, and ice melts on the road.
  • Hire crew, smuggle banned goods past the gate guards, compete with four rival trading houses, and eventually build warehouses, workshops and a ship of your own.
  • There's a story too: your mother's journal, a hidden Eastern Gate, and four endings.

Play it here (free, no download): https://janjetovic.itch.io/silk-and-storm

This is a playtest build (0.9.0), so I'd really love your feedback, especially on:

  • Is the first 10 minutes clear, or did you get lost?
  • Does the economy feel fair, or did you find a way to break it?
  • Any bugs, of course!

Thanks for reading, and safe travels on the Old Road! 🐪
