i think i somehow played the glove compartment tape first, because that’s the only one i remember interacting with. First thing i did was pick it up out of the glovebox and put it in the radio.

Thanks for playing! I did tweak the size of the view, and that caused hole 8 to be impossible without plenty of upgrading. It's fixed now, thank you for pointing that out.

Thank you for playing, yes clicking the clubs upgrades their power and speed. Power is how far you can hit the ball with the club and speed is how long the aim bar oscillates. So higher speed, longer oscillation time, easier to stop aim at the desired time.

Yes if you buy caddy for club XY, it will be automatically upgraded.

As for the aim bar, the “speed” is the amount of time the bar oscillates, so if you upgrade from 1 to 3(seconds/speed) it will take more time for the bar to move, making it easier to make the bar stop where you desire.

Good luck on the back 2,147,483,624!!

This is one of the coolest takes on a platformer/flight sims i've ever played. Only thing i could say is add models for the platforms i.e. asteroids/proper space station landing platforms for the goals.

Really fun, only thing is with the camera change is very abrupt and with it being precision based movement the change of camera can be very jarring and causes me to fail.

Game froze after completing wave 2, I'm not sure what caused this, only thing I did in between waves was purchasing a new weapon. Worked fine after restarting. Only thing i'd like is less information at beginning. Seems a bit too overwhelming at first.

Flappy bird but instead Feces, perhaps if you improve it more you rename it Flappy Feces/ Flappy Fecal. Maybe add some animated wings to him or make him rotate a bit when jumping. I think it would also be funny to add him dropping some mini poops every couple of jumps. It could add a little more motion and visual fun. Furthermore matching the scale of background pixels to the foreground character. It looks awkward with a highly detailed character and then a 3 pixel pipe/ plunger.

Really fun after a couple minutes and you understand what is happening. I have one suggestion for drawing the syphons to reshape them based on their surroundings.

for every syphon use a von-nuemman neighborhood with radius 1, so look at left, right, up, down adjacent pieces. Then map pieces to 2, 4, 8, 16; ie. if up is also a syphon add 8, if left is a syphon add 2, for a total of 10. if the total is 10 you make the syphon shape . using these values allows you to get a unique number for each shape. if the total is 0/(30=2+4+8+16) leave it as the default all four sizes as either all disconnected looking for a connection or connected on all four sizes. I hope this description makes sense its hard to write here and I tried using tables but the formatting on itch doesn't work for a successful visualization.

I tried to figure out what's going but I can't. Like SourStone said you get hit right away, my first time play i ended up shrinking to be a tiny dot. And i would've survived forever because the bubbles disappeared. Next couple play throughs i survived for a bit, before dying unceremoniously with no real clue how. I guess the bubbles i don't collect do damage but its not really clear.

Fun game, you could definitely expand by simply adding new levels with different candy types. I have the same comment Ido Adler has, there should be some delay and animation in between the merge and the new item so the player has time to digest the information, and make it more clear what is happening.

Very good visuals and controls. I got to the part where you ejected the tape, but now i don't know what to do. I fiddled around for a while, braking, speeding, cruising, switching between the glove box and the mirror but couldnt figure it out. What am I missing?

Fun simple platformer with and interesting twist. A couple quick suggestion i have, is turn off the walking sound while the player is in the air. And when the disappearing platforms reappear, reverse the animation.

Just beat Loop Survivors, would love if you checked out my game.

Had a ton of fun playing this.

My suggestions and comments are:

Time over screen took too long each time in between the loop and the upgrade page.

Gem/Heart colors were too similar to enemy colors making it visually confusing. I suggest having gems be unique colors to the ships and have all hearts red. If this is intentional to confuse the player i suggest having the enemies turn into a land mine some of the time so you punish the player for not paying attention to which item defeated enemies drop.

At one point with the mine launcher it caused defeated enemies to spawn gems out of reach from the player up in the air. This also happened once with a heart but it was close enough to be collected.

Maybe have the player kill the remaining spawned in enemies before triggering the boss fight.

Also one question:

If i have the gun set to my forward weapon and i press the gun button again, am i upgrading the gun or just purchasing the same gun over and over? Cause if so i spent a lot of time buying the same weapon over and over again lol.

Great game, I hope you add more boss fights eventually or even mini bosses.

I enjoyed playing. I suggest the enemy attack the player base at some point to add some challenge. Audio is really good. Also it could be cool to be able to press on your soldiers to make them run faster for a second, because i find myself just staring at the spawn button waiting to press it over and over with nothing else to do but wait or buy an upgrade if i have enough currency. Keep up the good work, this game has tons of potential.

Really cool take on connect four. I think the special pieces might be a bit much, the rotation is already tricky enough. Maybe replace the special pieces with an option to pass a move and choose a direction to rotate the board. Fun game.

Thank you for playing! There are 2,147,483,647 holes because they are procedurally generated. I do want to change it so instead of new holes continuously being unlocked, there are separate courses with 18-27 holes. The basic idea of upgrading the clubs is you can increase how far you can hit the ball (power), and the speed of the club which is how fast the aim bar moves while swinging. Thank you for the comment and suggestions. I appreciate it.

Love this comment, thank you so much for playing!! That’s a great point, I didn’t think about that inconvenience in design. I will look into and either switch/flip controls from toggle clubs [left | right] and aim [A | D] to the opposite or add an option to flip these controls. Thanks again, great critique. You’re the man!!!

Just made the made the update to automatically switch the player's current club to the putter when on the green. I also realized I forgot to add the toggle club controls on the itch page and in the game controls page. Thank you.

Thank you so much for playing and your wonderful feedback. Controls need to be more obvious or better explained, it’s currently arrow (left/right) to toggle clubs but it’s never explained to the player. Aim adjustment speed will be improved in the future, thank you for the shift+aim_direction solution, i will use this. Thanks again for playing!

(1 edit)

use arrows left or right to toggle clubs. I’m going to make it automatically switch to putter when on the green. Thank you for playing and hope that helps.

Thank  you! i just added a new level, and made some fixes to the player being "stuck to walls".

this is what my game jam dashboard looks like btw

Did my game submit? On my Itch creator dashboard it says it's submitted, but the jam page still says submit a project. The issue now is that if i try to upload the project i created and already may have submitted, it wont let me select the existing project on itch.

One of the best games i've played so far! Exceptional work. I don't know what say, this is so good.

cool take on the theme, had fun playing it. enemy movement and attacks were well done

visuals are amazing! only thing i would change to the visuals is the ability for the player to rotate the camera. couldn't get pass the black screen glitch but still had fun attempting to get passed it multiple times

Had fun playing, good job! I love the customizable feature, thats always one of my favorite parts of a game. Boss 3 absolutely shredded me whereas boss 1 seemed easier, great balancing.

Sound effects and voice acting are God tier and I capitalized that 'G' for a reason. You are no false idol my friend but instead an otherworldly deity.

Art and music is awesome and controls feel smooth even tho they also feel off. Couldn't damage the boss either as i didn't really know how even after multiple attempts.

Reminds me of an old GBA game. Only thing im missing is the theme, i dont see where it is applied.

I was playing the web version.

Cool game, interesting mechanics. the boss is very punishing, couldn't beat the first one.

Art is fantastic, so is the gameplay. Only thing is the boss disappeared during my run making it unable to beat after a certain point.

The game + idea is really fun. With more practice and experience you'll be very good.

Game is pretty difficult. Played a couple times and couldn't kill the first boss. Still lots of fun. Great work.

A parry mechanic seems fun! Thank you for the suggestion.
