you are slowly burning (therefore melting) the ice blocks! and the goal is a chair for every level ;)

i originally planned on having a small text to say “melt me to start” but it didn’t fit very well! so far it’s seemed to’ve worked out anyways lol

yes i agree, i was starting to struggle with interesting puzzle ideas bc of how few mechanics i have lol i do think it could be fleshed out well!

great dialogue, i think this game would work better as a turn-based selection instead of real time, so that the skill is in deciding what to do rather than who’s faster at menuing, also i think i could just spam the calm-down options!

visual style’s great, i only got $12.21 on my playthrough lol

fun little room shooter, i think it’s unfair to have the enemies detect you from the other rooms, as they’d start chasing and shooting me BEFORE i entered, so they were already shooting when i couldn’t even see where they were!

i also do not understand the ending with the chairs and guy, i shoot him and nothing happens, but if i touch him the game seems to crash? played it twice to check if i missed anything!

game’s a nice little management and risk/reward system, i think having the tutorial open by default would help. also i see no reason (besides showing the chairs in this empty establishment) for the quest cards NOT to always be shown, took me a second to find it!

cute VN, i guess i shouldn’t’ve expected a different ending since the game tells you so right from the start… but i still thought i’d have more choice!

overall great art and sound design, interesting story

neat little game, the natural progression for upgrades would be making capacities and speed higher, but that would go against “slow burn”! nice game

fun, every second run i get turned upside-down INSTANTLY, still getting 1st tho ‘cus i’m the goat

edit: ALSO, i think you’d feel the speed more if there were little decals / something other than flat blue tracks to look at, right now there’s just other cars and a few turns (which change the lighting) for the spatial feeling

¿¿damn qué tan altura es está montaña?? ¡reuda bien para ser un cubo!

i can go really fast but i don’t know what my score is in the end

game’s a fun idea and reminds me of Nodebuster (which i loved!) some of the upgrades are too similarly coloured, the blue ones specifically:

  • a purchased blue upgrade is almost the same colour as another unpurchased one!

muy divertido gg

don’t worry, as a native speaker for 21 years, i still get lost sometimes lol

thank you! in the simplest terms (which i should’ve included somewhere i realised :o):

  • the top letters are getting replaced with the letters below them!

cute idea and cute execution!

absolute cinema actually, i’ve had ideas similar to this but not for a typing game, insane creativity :OOOOOO

once the idea clicked and i saw that YOUR LAST LOCATION SAVES!!?? my jaw was on the floor

glad you enjoyed it! happy to hear you could learn it from the game, and the unlimited mode is really where the learning happens lol

i’ll try make a de/cipher program too! good way to exercise encryption and yeah the narrative’s much bigger than i’d have time for in a gamejam lol

this is a really cute idea, it’s fun! i wish the Restart button grabbed focus when i lose, so i could keep my finger on the Space bar! just to make it that touch faster

the game’s adorable! i don’t know what the cutoff reaction time is, but i never lost!! the artstyle makes me want to play commodore 64 games :D image.png

  • i can add an optional outline shader to all game objects, with a player-selected colour
  • that is something i have ideas for, but i’ll have to swap to the godot MONO (C#/.NET) version
  • i can try make drag-clicking the whole window move it too

i will be doing a house show at YOUR house

yep, the physics were wonky on purpose, but i forgot to add a minimum velocity :/ so they can regularly get to incredible small movement speeds !

not sure when i’m gonna work on this again, got so much to do lmao

exactly! zine culture is all about making it easier to share, tiny / personal / accessible content, made even MORE accessible by digitisation!

i think that’s the mute action happening, if you hold a button during the intro it will mute and unmute the sound. it’s my favourite part of this project :)

no lose state condition, white doesn’t get to play after a player wins, that’s it, i’m making my own Xs & Os !!

thank you!

u always got my back big dawg

got 202, not that bad imo!

please change the bigcartel link to be the DX version’s itch link, i just went on a journey! lol

i guess they’d display after you lose? interesting!

thanks!

pretty simple and fun! i love the visuals too, very good, i got 70 in the end lol

i played endless first and had quite a bit of fun, but then i tried story and it was really fun having two positions to focus on! i love how i have to recognise which lock to finish first

nice little game, it felt like either MY hitbox or the enemy’s hurtboxes were larger than they appear, because once they’re to my left, they are still hitting me D:

pretty nice, at some point it is just like jump roping where you keep the same rhythm, it’s cute too!
