I genuinely feel incredibly immersed in this journey. I will win big medal in Olympia Game.
Perfect score. No notes.
Loved it! Finished the game because I was motivated by the absolute bullshittery of the card game (eventually it just stacked the 3 cards immediately rather than one circle at a time, so landing that game became an instant health loss).
House of Fun was my favourite, though I never finished the laser trap...
Really cool atmosphere, LOVED the banjo kazooie-like voice. Controls and movement were also really smooth and I loved how fast I could go once I knew what was going on. Very well done!
Super fun! Really liked the time travelling and eventually figured out I should try to stand in specific spots so I warp somewhere else. Also made grabbing the best weapons valuable since you're out of luck if you're stuck with rocks.
Same issue as others, wasn't sure what the win condition was and eventually decided there wasn't one. Good to know it's beatable! I would just very much like to know what it is lmao.
My first run ended on round 2 because no molecules spawned for like 15 seconds :D
I enjoyed this, but currently I think the main mechanic of harvesting molecules could be a bit more exciting. At least at the beginning, it's quite slow and you're kinda just going from A to B to C without much variation.
That being said, I like the spinning wheel upgrade mechanic! I thought it was cool to have three to choose from and to see them flying by. Only complaint with it is that there is often one objective "correct" upgrade, e.g. would I like +10 movement speed, or +20 movement speed. Could be good to separate different types of upgrades on different wheels to make the player prioritise what they should pick, almost like making a build :)
This game is actually super fun! I really enjoyed playing. Very solid game mechanics, I LOVE how you can see the line the ship is going to take while still looking like part of a map, I love the underwater dash mechanics, the health represented by the remaining tentacles, everything is pretty neat. Well done!
LOOOOOVE the visuals! Very satisfying controls as well, very responsive.
Only gripe is that I feel the space between your sword and the space between the enemy attacks is probably too similar, Often died in the middle of a sword strike towards the enemy which insta-killed me pretty much.
Would love to see this concept expanded! Has a lot of potential.
Nice, vibey puzzle game, but I feel it often relied on luck rather than a consistent solution? The spinning spiked cube in the centre of the final yellow room for instance: My best way to get through just relied on holding Q and E and moving right along the wall and hoping I didn't get hit until eventually I made it through sheer number of attempts.
Not all puzzles are like this of course, but yes, quite the difficult game you've put together (ESPECIALLY with the fixed camera). Not necessarily a bad thing, but I feel it jumped in difficulty far too quickly.
This was pretty cool, the visuals were nice and the concept was very serious. I feel the same as Grecha about staying in the one spot the whole game, although the golden fish did make me stray away to go and get it. That being said, there wasn't really any indicator of how effective certain methods were to keeping the fish god away? I'm still not sure if the golden fish actually did anything to increase my survival time.
Another thing, the kayak felt HEEAAVY, which I know is supposed to emulate the weight of the boat and the water, but I would argue it's a bit tooooo heavy.
Still, enjoyed it quite a bit!
This game was cool! I liked the theme and I thought the intro was super cool and serious (importantly), very evocative of retro NES games.
Two major issues unfortunately, the game never told me the controls for spinning the room around until AFTER I had spun the room. If you see this before the 24 hour bug fix time is up, I would fix that (assuming it wasn't just an issue on my end). I genuinely was about to submit a report of the game being broken before I found it by accident.
Secondly, rotating the screen has a very small delay. In moments where I had to jump and THEN rotate the screen to make it somewhere, I ended up having to press E or Q, and THEN immediately jump to anticipate the screen rotation. Idk, the timing was incredible precise and punishing, which is reminiscent of NES games I guess.
Overall was a cool experience! Sound design was quite good (music stopped looping at the end btw), and again, story, premise, and intro were my highlights :)
This is super eerie!! I think this is definitely something that can be revisited and developed further for sure, there's a lot of rooms which can't really be interacted with properly, and I think it'd be really cool if I had to solve a few text-based puzzles to move on. Also, I reached he room with the gentleman sipping the tea, and now nothing I type gets a response, haha. Man's tea was just too hypnotizing I guess.
