I love the design of the plant creature, it looks so cool!

I could have never expected such a design, you're really imaginative!

This is so good how my two favorite 3D platformers on Itch.io are getting updates!

Thank God for such joys being received!

Can't wait to play the game!

I tried adding you on Discord to share the clips i took but it says your not accepting friend requests.

My comments on your YouTube videos get automatically deleted as well.

Is there any way to contact you in private or should i provide the clips here somehow?

This game is amazing! It's like playing a mix of past, present and future rolled into one!

The soundtrack is awesome with a sweet groove and funk to it. My favorite is the first track, sounds vaporwave and i love it. though i am disappointed that the track goes away after getting the first power cassette tape. I would love for there to be a way to listen to it again.

My other complaints is that there are invisible walls during the AMB sections that are annoying to deal with.

The area underneath the shipwreck is unfinished. (Bring me to the 32 Bit Jam Discord so i can yell at vongarfunWe about it.) I also got stuck in the floor of that area and had to reset the game to get out. (I have an image of it if you wanna see it.)

Due to me resetting i noticed that saving and quitting resets the batteries in the level but does not restart the battery count in the top right corner. I assume this was a mistake, correct?

But worst of all there's a glitch caused by the checkpoint before ethe boss arena being connected to the checkpoint at the dock somehow, meaning that when i get to the latter checkpoint first the former checkpoint won't activate, but when i do get to the former first when i loose to the boss it still respawns for the the latter checkpoint. I suggest having this get checked out.

But other than those complaints it's still a very fun game with high imagination and uniqueness. Like i said, it's like the past, present and future combined due to the game feeling like a futuristic version of the interests of our modern society in a retro PS1 style.

After over an hour and a half playing the game i wanted to give this review after 100% completing it but i was unable to find the final Godot collectable (I assume that's a placeholder.) after who knows how long of trying so i'm having a break now and will go back to searching latter, maybe not too soon but later. Please don't tell me where it is, i would like to figure that out by myself, i only want to point out my troubles in finding it.

But with that being said that does tie into something i have to praise this game for and that's the sense of exploration, allowing the player to explore the map and not holding any hands gives a greater sense of adventure.

And the overall style and atmosphere of the game works to make said sense of adventure all the more enticing. Seriously, i love this game's aesthetics.

The challenges weren't too tough and a good amount of challenge as well, same goes for the boss fight.

Over this is very good and i thank EelShepard so much for making this amazing game.

But i still have to be fair here and while this game is amazing the issues i have with it have to bring it down to four stars.

I will be sure to check out this game's updates in the future knowing that it has the potential to be five stars and i will also be following the developers and checking out their other games as well as i expect great things from them in the future.

Happy to help!

My Discord is the same as my name here so feel free to send me a friend invite and i will send you the clips of her walking backwards.

Trust me, it's hilarious.

I got done playing all three levels and they were a blast.

This is a fun game with good style, designs, levels, atmosphere, etc.

My major complaints are that the one flying robot by the switch in the third level is too hard to get to, sometimes the air kick and air dash didn't work, i don't think there should be levels where it's possible to miss crystals and the only way to backtrack is through getting the player character killed, the camera clips into the wall at times (Although that one isn't so bad.) and it's not really explained what the spirits and that angel do.

With that being said the gameplay is amazing, i had lots of fun and it's simple yet fun to master as i managed to reach areas i know were not supposed to be reached. (Really the only second way to backtrack in the third level.)

I also found a glitch where the player character starts walking backwards. I have no idea how i managed to do that but don't fix it as it's hilarious. I suggest keeping it in as maybe an easter egg or a fun cheat code/mode. I have three recordings of it o let me know if you're interested in seeing it.

I also still don't know the names of these characters, especially the main player character so i hope and i am sure that that will be updated soon enough.

But yeah, all in all i am glad i found this game, i really enjoyed it and it was a good experience.

Thank you Deadwing, thank you. I'll be sure to check out your other works and keep up with the game as i know you will do great in the future.

I know this game has the potential to have five stars, but at the state the game is in right now, it's good, but not too good, so i gotta say, four stars!

I just wanna say that this game is amazing.

I love it's cute style and the gameplay really feel like an action platformer from the 2000s and i love it, makes me feel like a kid again.

The characters are cute and the amount a destructible objects in the environment really goes to show how much attention to detail the developer put into this game.

The world itself is cute and highly unique and imaginative.

The dash is fun to mess around with as well.

The music is fun and upbeat to listen to as well.

And although a few challenges were difficult to get through (Especially the final mountain climbing challenge.) it wasn't too impossible and is able to be managed just fine.

My only complaints is that those flying jester enemies can be too difficult sometimes and sometime fly too high away and if they're defeated too high then the crystals they drop are too far out of reach. I was lucky enough that there was a ledge near by i could dash off of to get to it.

There's also a glitch where the camera keeps rotating around Willow when a DualShock 5 controller is plugged into my PC. Not the first time a 3D platformer on Itch.io has this issue and i find that strange, i wonder why that happens.

But on that topic, DualShock 5 support would be nice.

There should also be an option in the menu to quit the game as well as a pause screen with said quit option as well, but i'm sure that the dev is working on that and it will be available next update.

All in all, it's a fun, pleasant experience and i will be following both this game and the developer CornflowerBlue from now on as i know they will deliver good stuff in the future and i'll be sure to check out his other games later today as of writing this review.

Keep up the good work. I don't know who Ludum Dare 52 is but i know they love this as well.

Thank you so much CornflowerBlue, thank you.

Despite all the issues i listed with this game it's not enough for me to not love it so i still give it five stars!

This game is amazing!

First of all, i love the aesthetics! Reminds me a little of vaporwave mixed with Y2K all over a beautiful tropical setting all working together to create an atmosphere that makes me feel like a kid again. I love it so much and we need more games in this amazing and relaxing art style!

The style of the game in general is cool and stylish.

I love the gameplay and how it is simple to play yet fun to master.

I had trouble on a few stages but then i learned new mechanics such as being able to swing on the walls and continuously jumping off then back on them for extra speed.

The controls took getting used to but when i did i managed to have a lot of fun controlling the character as well as the exciting movement.

Overall the level design is amazing and the right amount of challenging.

I will never be able to beat the time trials but i know it'll be a blast to see others beat them.

And the music give me the feeling of a nice tropical funk, very fun, relaxing and satisfying to listen to.

All in all, Project Schmovement gives me the same feeling playing games in the 2000s when i was a kid. Man oh man do we need more games that feel like the 2000s again.

I will be keeping an eye on both this game and the developer aFrostHound and looking forward to what they will both bring in the future!

I know we will be receiving great things from this game and the dev in the future so i hope more people check this out!

Five stars!

Edit: I just checked out aFrostHound's list of games developed and all of his games are like this? This same style i love so much? Amazing! This guy is one of my new favorite devs on Itch.io now hands down! I love this guy's style! As if God sent me to this game to experience more of what i love and to feel like a kid again, to relive my childhood all over again but still brand new!

Thank you so much aFrostHound, thank you.
