The colors, the guide even the "add to collection" pop up is well designed. Ill be sure to try it, from the outside it looks great though.

sorry if that sounded offensive. You don't need full 8k graphics to make a good game especially a pixel art one.

There are plenty of games that have small sprites like 8x8. They only have colors that works well together. So I just meant that the colors don't work much together.

Oh... finally, I finished it.

To my surprize, It took me a while.

The game is decent.

You can update many things in the game to make it better:

1. Sometimes, you're able to walk on bodies, but other times, you can't. It seems to be that some parts are on the layer that you can move on/jump and so.
2. Ragdolls don't interact with kicks. Maybe make them go back a little when kicked.
3. As you said in game, "If you're stuck, restart" can you add a way to stop temporary their collision. Like the system of a one way platform. You've multiple one way platforms in your game, probably used the pre-built one in godot but yeah.
4. Enemies sometimes move backward quickly when collided with player or when the "melee weapon" enemy charges at you and you try to kick him, he sometimes gets the kick but most of the time he gets a backward force similar when you kick someone. It's funny but if you don't want it, you can see what is causing it.
5. Sorry but the art sucks. Though, you can improve it yourself. If you don't want to hire someone else.
6. The gameplay is pretty decent, so you just need more buildings.
7. You also don't need to put everything in one scene. You can either add an end to each building and loads the next scene, or more advanced, loading the scene in the background, but as said, it's complicated for a small game & not worth it.

I guess that summarize it. Your game is cool, just needs more content

It's a good game. The art style is very good an unique.

The story is... not the best but definitely not bad.

A problem is that the story is very short, like 10min gameplay and only 2 ending (in my gameplay).

The game wasn't too much of a horror (maybe because I read too much horror & played horror these past days).

The music is pretty good especially for a small game.

Overall it's good, wouldn't recommend it to a person who wants to play a visual novel (visual novels ranges starts at 3 hours) but would recommend it for someone who wants to play a short, small horror game.

Note: in the files settings of itch game page, set the files to (executable windows) so itch.io program can download it.

Comment your suggestion about the idea

Also, this will be a weekly devlog

ah thanks, it is not literally copying mechanics, i am just taking clear inspirations from other media in my idea

I have an idea for the game but it takes some inspirations from another media [movies/anime/manga/etc]. so i want to know if it's allowed to take inspirations or ideas from other medias or even games?
