Thank you! I take a lot of pride in the sound design of my games :)

Your brother's animations are hilarious, I just wish the game had sound to accompany it! I will be having nightmares about Marco tonight...

Well... the music made me feel like I was having a bad trip so that's something!

This is by far one of my FAVORITE games submitted in this jam !! I love the Stardew Valley art style, and the use of the limitation was genius ! I absolutely loved the idea of having to pick out the "bad" mushrooms, while constantly being in a psychotic loop. The gnome peeping at me was a scary/fun detail that made this game even more immersive ! Keep up the great work !

It was a very fun game and reminded me of those type of puzzle level design games I used to play on CoolMathGames as a kid ! The art style was very pleasing to look at and cute !!! Keep up the great work !!

Try a better cover image for the game! maybe people see it and are turned off. It doesn't showcase how awesome your game is!

I have no clue why you've had 0 ratings thus far. This is one of my favorite games of the Jam BY FAR! I love the concept of infecting the different enemy types and using their abilities against them. I had a great time leveling up my guys and turning them into turrets. Not to mention an entire STORY, complete in comic book fashion with art, sound, and the whole big jam!!! I am super impressed with this game and I hope that it gets the attention it deserves!! Bravo!

Beautiful music! The art was super cute, and I very much appreciate the detail that went into the enemy types. My favorite were the from cannoneers, they looked so silly. Great job!

thank you!! I enjoyed your game too!

I liked the sound effects, it made game much more enjoyable. The art for the mushrooms is... questionable... BUT I did- for some reason- very much enjoy this game. 10 Pixelated Mushroom PNGs out of 10.

Unlocked a passion I didn't know I had. I'm going to go outside and punch some flowers. Thanks for the great experience!

awesome! You did a great job with balancing polish and simplicity, and coming out with a sweet short and simple product!!!

I had a great time, but i could not get past the grasshopper section with the horizontal moving blocks, I was playing on my moms laptop with her trackpad while I visited them and saw your comment. They ALSO liked your game, and learned all about Cordyceps mushrooms at the same time!

Good job! Best one yet :)

thanks! I like to go for a whimsical adventurous kind of style with a little bit of impending doom sprinkled in there.

thanks! I wanted a cool blend of top down/isometric/side scroller kind of platforming, i just wish I capitalized on the side scroller aspect a little more!

It doesn't really fit the limitation at all, but I don't think this game was actually made for this game jam specifically. BUT- the graphics are pretty! As R0MF stated, the game felt very sluggish, almost like it was playing in slo-mo. Keep up the good work- but I don't think this fits as a Jam submission for this one.

Very beautiful game! however I felt like I had no control over the character,  maybe more indication of when to press the switch loop, and where your character will end up going? It is a pretty looking game though!!!

I quite enjoyed this game a lot, since I am a fan of maze games- The art style was very cute and it was a lighthearted cute game overall !!

Really cool! I wished more of the mushrooms were dependent on where they were placed in the deck, but cool concept! I loved the art style :)

I'm not sure if the user interface was glitched, but there was no visible way for me to tell how much money I had, nor was there an indicator on what I was holding.  Maybe the HTML export messed some stuff up?
Either way, I enjoyed the music and the art! the game its self felt a little unresponsive and confusing though!

I totally agree with you. Especially Stage 3 where you're jumping across thise thin platforms

I'm excited to play all these awesome games! good luck!

haha thats a BAD BABY BOY!!!

I loved the style of it, but the thieves certainly could have used some more work visually, haha. Overall, nice simple game with cute art!

I really did feel as though I was a baby with an unwelcomed guest playing with all of MY toys... I got extremely possessive at times and even threw my monitor across my room at the sheer thought of this "Jason" character even looking at my toys. Thank you for the immersive experience, would recommend to anyone ever.

I love the artstyle!!! the sound effects are great too, the squeaky toy got my dog excited, haha.

haha I have a feeling I dedicate a little too much time and energy to game jams honestly. Whenever I do them I make sure that every possible second of my free time is dedicated to it. Surprisingly I was pretty relaxed with this one and didn't really put forth as much effort as I have in the past!

I ran out of time to put a tutorial :/ you have to put the bear in the basket

Thanks!!! First time publishing HTML5, was pretty stressful haha

fixed! Added a pause feature.

sure, I'll try it out tonight! Also- my game has a decent amount of FOV distortion as well, but it's a slow slow throb that kinda just barely adds to the feeling of discomfort. When thinking of camera shake, FOV change, and post-process effects, I've adopted a "less is more" mentality with it. Going overboard with either of those 3 things could easily make your game disorienting and unpleasant to look at. I usually start with a small amount that is barely noticeable and tweak it right up to the point where the player may not notice it, but it still adds to the effect of whatever you're trying to sell in your game- so if absurdity is something you want to sell, then an absurd amount of camera shake is warranted!

On this, I did notice your camera shake, and I did appreciate the subtlety of it!

Cute!!! I do think the game could use a larger camera area. I felt as though the objective was unclear at times because of it. great great job, I love the art style and the rat's animations :)

honestly, I felt like this was more so a glimpse into the future than a videogame... don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight. good job...

WOOHOO!!! Love me a roguelike!!! great job on all the enemy AI. My one criticism is the wildly changing FOV, doesn't bother some people but it gives me headaches when the FOV changes so constantly and so severely. Great job, though, very impressive!

welp, another classic from the almighty Sven. If there is one thing we can all be sure of, it is that this game puts the rest of the Jam TO SHAME. Spin. Spin away...

Yeah, I don't blame you. I had to develop half the game with my eyes closed.

thank you so so much! I really wanted to make a unique and atmospheric experience. I've never been great with story telling, but I'm very happy with how it came out, as subtle as it may be. You're awesome!

Yeah I was going to add a pause menu but I ran out of time. 26 minutes before the deadline and I had to wake up for work in 4 hours haha

Im glad you enjoyed it :)

With a budget of $1B, how could we go wrong?
