I have a quick question about the rule that says AI and generative methodology are banned in all parts of the submission.
Does this include text-to-speech (TTS) tools? Specifically, I was thinking of using something like Microsoft Sam, which is an old robotic voice from Windows (late 90s/2000s). It's not based on neural networks or AI models — it's an old-style formant synthesizer that just turns text into a robotic-sounding voice using fixed rules, kind of like a basic speech synthesizer in old computers.
Would using a voice like that be allowed, or does the rule cover all synthetic voices regardless of how old or "robotic" they sound?
