Nice! I thought I had CR at the top of all of them but perhaps not. Will need to look again.
Good work on hard difficulty! Things have to line up the right way but when the stars align it feels great!
Would love to see some pics when you have the chance! The Historic Map Pack is a step up in difficulty. I haven't had too many people dive into that particular title so it's good to see some action.
Glad the Hard difficulty is keeping you engaged! I tend to play at Medium when I play. I like winning every now and then - I am middling skill wise on gaming in general.
Thank you very much for playing! It's encouraging and inspiring for me to continue exploring these odd designs.
Same here. There are several titles that are unplayable solo without the digital version available.
I don't play many of the digital to board games the other way because I don't play enough digital to see how the mechanics would map, how the IP translates, etc. I tend to avoid polish as well as I am decidedly old school.
This was more an experiment to see if this was even remotely possible without removing the essence of the game play. This game existed digitally with board game sensibilities to start. I wasn't planning on demaking it to a physical format but here we are.
Fun stuff.
Thank you! That means a ton to me as I have created a lot of oddball stuff over the years. I wanted to get more into making games with the Decktet but I don't think many people have it. It's a shame because it really is quite ingenious.
The PNP for this game will probably be available in a few weeks in one format or another - I am thinking this is essentially a roll and write. Cards will be substituted by dice lookup I imagine as they are expensive to produce. That said, I'd like to make it toploader friendly by producing game cards and maps that would fit for those who have the physical copies. We'll see how it goes. It should be a straightforward translation but I still need to make sure it's fun.
I really like the pico-8 game platform. There are a lot of interesting carts out there. Some really creative stuff. I'm glad I discovered it. It has a lot of restrictions but it is so much fun to develop in.
Welcome aboard! I agree that a setup diagram would help. I will put one together in the next few weeks. Life has been pretty hectic but I wanted to get the game released. In the meantime, I have a YouTube video playthrough on the solo game if you need it. :)
Rust & Revenue is definitely a step up in complexity. If you get hooked, then there is a whole world of gaming that opens up with the genre. Charters to me would be a slightly easier on ramp but the components are specialized enough that it would be a harder build to find parts for but an easier teach.
Regardless, thank you for the kind note! Let me know if you have any questions. :)
Demo today was great at Unplugged Gaming!
We had four games - a couple 3-player, one two-player and one solo teach. It is always inspiring to see your designs being explored by others real time. Everyone had a good time which is what it's all about. Two other tables out at that time were Brass Lancashire and Root so R&R was in good company.
Looking forward to the next demo scheduled in Syracuse on Sunday 10/19 at Play the Game Ready The Story at their North Clinton location. Hope to see some friendly faces and new players.
Happy railroading!

Hello! Reginald gets the bump as well.
I will have to add it to the FAQ before I do another modest rulebook post. The game page at BGG has some rule threads as well and I tried putting more of a living thread there as well.
Official FAQ thread

If you happen to play, house rules might be needed when hooking into the main prebuilt track. In theory on this map, 2, 4 and 5 might be able to get in there. If there are ties for anything, apply company numeric order.
Otherwise, the companies start up and build like they do in the base game. If Xavier or Reginald started company #1, they would build to the city off their prebuilt spur toward the middle of the map.
I plan on playing this one this week.
