Hey nice work! It was fun and I like the dorito with a hat sprite

The movement feels nice it doesn't feel like I lose any inputs!  I love the sprites and animations especially the mole when he changes positions. The game is quite hard which is fine.

Since the games so movement input intensive I ended up finding it a lot easier to play with two hands (left for WASD and right for space), so you could also add an option for LMB to shoot.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I plan on designing a few levels (to gradually introduce mechanics) and adding/changing the block spells.

I think I could even add puzzle elements to the game if the core loop ends up being a lot more fun.

I love the sound effects reminds me of old school runescape!

Peak, great idea!

I like the art and sounds!

Solid foundation here it reminds me a little bit of Robotron 2084!

Thank you for the feedback! I plan on finishing it with a few levels and trying out the rest of my ideas I had to cut. I think it can be a fun little arcade game if I get it right.

Thank you! You're right, there's too much friction on to use the spells compared to using the regular blocks. I'll have to rethink that aspect of the game.

Fun little game. I was really hoping my bees would pull through on the later levels unfortantenly I couldn't get past level 10.

I only made it to level 8 although it was quite fun. Good job on the polish! It was satisfying to play.

nothing better than driving a forklift

Art

I like the magic system you have here and it's pretty fun to play. The spells felt satisfying to use. A little improvement could be adding some sort of way to keep your aux spell if you accidently pick up another spell.
I love the hand drawn art style too!

Actually quite fun. For these type of games I like to have my selections move towards a build or player identify, here it felt like I just picked whatever gave me the most stats and won. However it's a bit hard to implement something substantial like that in a game jam environment. I like the game nonetheless.

Super cool, the only issue was it's hard to see which wireframe cube is in front if there's more than three stacked on each other. Otherwise it's a super solid game idea.

100% agree with you that it's lacking on the rune design and level design. I haven't made content/levels for a game of my own before., I want to continue developing for an extra few days and create some better levels and add a couple more rune ideas I had to leave out.

Your art style looks really good and is easy to understand. I was unsure what happens after a caster attacks, that section needs more polish. However it seems like it could be a fun game!

Thanks for your feedback! I agree with you the levels and the rune spells could be a lot better.  I need to get some level design practice in.

Art style is super cool and the puzzles are fun without being too hard.

Pretty cool. The art does a good job of communicating what needs to happen . WASD controls felt better to me than the A/D click version.

Hey, I used this sprite in my game jam submission and gave you credit.

Hey thanks for using my art, the game looks cool! Keep on grinding with the game dev!
