Hello everyone!

I’ve been working on a 2D top-down arena combat game built in Godot 4, and I would love to get your general thoughts and first impressions on how it feels to play.

What is the game about? Inspired by childhood spinning-top battles, mostly Beyblade, this is a physics-based brawler where there are no traditional health bars. Instead, your "Spin" is your lifeblood. Every time you collide, dash, or take damage, your stamina drains. If your top stops spinning—or gets smashed out of the arena—you lose!

Here is a look at the gameplay in action: []

I currently have the core combat loop and a full Tournament Bracket system working, but since I’ve been staring at the code for so long, I really need some fresh eyes on it.

I’m looking for any general feedback you have! Is the core loop fun? Do the heavy physics feel satisfying? Is there anything that feels confusing? Any critiques at all are highly appreciated.

Thanks so much for taking the time to check it out!
