Thank you!

Glad you had fun! Some inspirations were taken from enter the Gungeon so I'm glad you noticed. Due to time-limitations and artist being busy a lot of the art couldn't be made

Glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely devastating that the audio can't be heard through the web as it's one of the best parts especially the last level! The person who made the audio did a good job

Thank you! IF you're referring to how the final room is in a different corner area that's intended - it can definitely be a bit confusing considering the boss level for some isn't stand alone like the mountain for example, I tried experimenting with adding a marker on the mini-map for event and boss rooms, but unfortunately there was some bugs with it so it had to be scraped - as for the sprite, the person responsible for our 2d art was really busy so the only art we were able to get was some rough quick sketches I made a note to them to fix it, but they couldn't come around to it so I just worked with what we had

glad you enjoyed it

art aside,  the gameplay is pretty nice the idea of balancing out a meter with your attacks was a good idea. The general gameplay aspects can be expanded on and be really fun with the addition of items or picking up cards after "battles" similar to slay the spire

The instructions are confusing at first - I suggest I have is have a red outline or a noise saying that it's wrong and/or have the "XOXO" mark reflect what was selective for example: red even number if you select on 4 reds you should get 4 x's instead of the same XOXO on every guess you make. Outside of that the game was a bit fun to play it reminded me of word searches; however, it did get a bit boring/stale after a while

Was fun to play definitely easy to get confused haha

Audio doesn't play through web (spent the remaining hours trying to fix it) Zip file contains the audio

Thank you for taking the time to check it out, and congrats on reaching the top!

(1 edit)

Thank you for taking the time to check it out and leaving feedback! I went back and forth between using the mouse wheel  or the mouse X,Y movement to scale and realized from your message that I forgot to update the text so I do apologize for the confusion- as for the jump length, it's fine as is. I should have been more transparent with the player, but for a lot of jumps you are supposed to scale the platform while you're on them to reach higher lengths and scale other platforms (down) to make the jumps doable. Once again, thank you for commenting and checking it out!

Good artstyle and the game mechanic was fun to play around with! Only thing missing is sound

Here's my solution to level 6:

Fun experience to play - Would suggest a potential time increase when you guess correctly and a small punish system (docking some seconds) for getting the answer wrong after X amount of tries as you can just keep spamming answers by doing +1

The soundtrack is nice and being able to choose your players size is a cool concept, however, the aiming is a bit confusing at first and It's hard to see where the enemy's projectiles are heading towards making it quite difficult to survive and unfortunately after playing for a bit on web you get an error that says "RunetimeError: memory access out of bound". Other than that, it would be nice for the game over screen to have a reset button and I'm confused about the purpose of a timer after shooting

Amazing game! The art, sound and mechanics were well executed

The movement with the rat and the bag was quite fun to mess around with. The game could always use some sound and the only issue I experienced is that the collisions with the human and cats sometimes doesn't work - my first time playing it I thought a gray cat was another rat because I was colliding with it multiple times and it didn't ever give me a game over

Ah, Okay! I believe this was on level 6 (the first level with the potion) It happens when you scale your object in a certain corner towards the player

The game has a unique style and nice sound, however, there were a few issues and unintentional things I discovered such as: If you reset the level while your character is midair from a spring your characters normal jump height increases by a lot, the scale circle sometimes doesn't scale the tiles you place on them properly, sometimes when jumping on a tile, the character gets stuck in the falling animation, the tile placement counter doesn't work, and finally the player being allowed to jump in the tile placement segment can make it easy to "cheese" the levels

Good Artwork, fun Mechanic and good sound, however, you should have included a minimum scale limit as it's possible to accidentally scale the objects down to 0 making the object disappear entirely

It will activate automatically when you pick it up. I should have made it clearer as to what can be scaled, thanks again!

Thank you for your feedback! Did you pick up the book at the beginning? It's required for the scale mechanic to work
